Edited by: Fi1ippo on 02/12/2010 21:47:12 Edited by: Fi1ippo on 02/12/2010 21:45:50 Afternoon, I apologize to bring this here to the forums but honestly i am a bit new and i am not sure where else to go after sending in an in game petition and a petiton via regular email to EVE support. I need to get my situation into the eyes of customer support and this seems to be the only way to do it.
I was recently the victim of a mistake made by one of your GMs and im in need of some answers, as well as proof to these allegations that i purchased ISK. You took actions based on logs (which i have logs too, and i sent them to your support department) and assumptions which are false.
I very quickly found and sent in the proof of the conversation logs between myself and the person i was initiating the trade with, and its clear that he was not selling me anything at all but giving it away. Since he was far away from my location we did the trades via contract...as i am told is a common way to trade ISK and items in EVE.
Yes it was a lot of ISK and i can see how it might look suspicious, but the proof is right there...since EVE records everything i was able (thanks to the help of a friendly corp member) to locate the chat logs pertaining to both events in question and sent them in via email to online support. If you are doing an investigation with that proof, or if you are simply ignoring it, either way i need to know because quite frankly being in the hole -800mil because of your mistake is starting to take its toll in frustration.
I understand people make mistakes and CCP is trying its best to avoid these things...but it happens. To everyone. Now all i ask is that i get a fair chance to prove myself innocent and get my playing experience back. Im not sure where else to turn, but I havnt even recieved any kind of indication from a GM that its even being looked in to...and thats whats annoying me the most.
So id appreciate if customer support can get this going. I dont mind a mistake, but i will take it seriously if im just left out in the cold.

I was expecting this.
You probably didnt read, but ill say it again anyway for you.
It was a legit trade, there was no real money involved in the process. He was leaving and moving on to better things.

ok post the logs.
Also if your friends account isn't banned have him post too. have him say where the money came from.
there is slight chance that you didn't know it, but the isk he gave you, HE BOUGHT. If the isk he gave you was bought by him and that isk was tracked, sorry mate but it gets taken away no matter who's hands it's in sometimes.
POST THE LOGS.

Doesn't matter if you bought the ISK or not. If the person who bought the ISK gave it to you it's still illegal ISK.
You should be talking to the person who supplied it, not harassing support or making ignorant accusations on the forums.

The guy who gave you the isk was probably being monitored and his activities logged. Meaning, CCP suspected (or knew) that your benefactor was an ISK farmer/seller. Your corp mates, on the other hand, don't act like ISK farmer/sellers and so their gifts are "valid."
Basically you received "stolen" goods from a known criminal (aka ISK seller) and it was assumed that you bought the ISK.
You're out of luck unless you can somehow prove your innocence. It also doesn't help that your wallet is at negative 800 million isk, which could mean that you quickly made some big purchases with the isk, which could imply that you were expecting a big inflow of isk and had already planned out what you wanted to buy.

Im not the one making the accusations, sadly.
Im being left with negative bank, no proof of these accusations, and no GM support on the matter. I am at least providing what evidence i have access to.

Posting logs and claiming innocence for everyone else to see will not do much for you. Keep this internal. This will eventually get locked.

FYI, my friend purchased ISK from the same place you did, and he got the ISK removed. They're well aware of this practice of making it look like a fake give-away.
To be quite honest, me thinks you both deserve it :D. ---

I didnt buy it, so i dont see where the comparison is coming from. And what gold farmer/ISK farmer actually speaks understandable English in coherant sentances. Uusally its just one or two word phrases. I imagine they arent any different then the ones infesting Warcraft.

Your posting logs for people who can do NOTHING about it. This will be handled internally and your innocence in our eyes means nothing when it comes to being proven guilty or not. Taking it to the forums because you feel CCP is not working fast enough will not make it go any faster. You already took the two official approaches needed to receive whatever judgment CCP will decide to give you. Be Patient and await that decision.

Some of the larger RMT groups are handled by English speaking people. Coherent sentences included.
