Prostheir	Posted - 2010.12.04 18:27:00 - [1] Has anyone noticed the cloaked ship (or possibly just a meaningless particle effect) on the login page of Incursion? Anyone have any info on this? Was running EvE fullscreen, on a 1440 x 900 monitor. The effect, whatever it is, takes place towards the bottom center-left area of the screen. It's very fast, but it reoccurs sporadically.

It's hard to make out the shape and flickers too quickly to successfully screenshot but it's definitely there. I'm playing on 1600 x 900 and it occurs on the upper right of the new ticker thing, just above where i enter my login details. EDIT: Having alt+Tabbed back to the screen, the effect is no longer present. EDIT 2: However, It's definitely, DEFINITELY there every single time you boot up the client so there's something afoot indeed. Thre are no similar effects anywhere else on the screen and it is definitely ship-shaped. Given the Jovianhabit of cloaking up and just observing what's going on, I wouldn't put it passed CCP to have done this deliberately. It may be meaningless as far as fiction and story goes but I still think it's deliberately put there ;)

I'd argue it's either A) - An actual ship-type from a specific angle B) - A non-specific shape but added to at least give the impression of a Cloaker watching Sansha's Batltestation. *THE INTRIGUE!!*

What would give it the look of being 'Cloaked', rather than just looking like a wormhole or, in the case of this being the generator of wormholes, a huge amount of energy output? It's unlikely to be one of them featured so rpominantly, they're just in-game easter eggs. Does anyone have a link to somewhere I can view the known Jovian ships?
