EVE Online Incursion 1.0.1 has been deployed. It includes the removal of learning skills, updates to the Neural Remap window, and the Echelon. In addition to this release there is a client update to fix a minor issue with the petitioning system. We strongly urge you to accept this update.
EVE Online Incursion is being released in three parts. This is the second installment with the final release coming January 18, 2011. The final release will include the character creator and Sansha incursion. Full details of this can be found in CCP ZuluÆs blog.
Tomorrow we plan to have a follow up patch to address several minor issues. Additional details will be made available soon.
This thread is for issues. If you have general feedbacks please use this link.

1. Download Repair too & run it. Let is fix whatever it's fixing. 2. The repair tool screws the permisions on 2 files. 3. In terminal type: chmod +x /Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/Frameworks/wineserver Also chmod +x /Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/MacOS/cider* 4. Run EVE, it will offer to download a patch for 1.0.1 ( It did offer me at least ). 5. Patch it & log in. No problems or black screens for me.

Also, while trying to view a contract while I was running an anomaly, I got a stealth disconnect (yay no more drones). I logged/shut the client and reopened it. Tried to view the contract again when I logged back in, same thing happened. Only the second time when I logged out/in again it appears that I didn't ewarp. My ship was still in the anomaly, taking damage. What was weirder was that my missile launchers were cycling and the missile effects were showing up, but not doing damage and not using ammo. I also couldn't target anything on my overview, things that my overview said were 33km away, my ship thought were 157000km away. When I tried to warp to station, figuring that a session change might help, I got the message that I couldn't do that because I was in warp. Even though I could see myself orbiting an item in the anomaly, and I was continuing to take damage. Never seen anything like it.
EDIT: Relogging a third time seems to have worked =/
A native client would've been a sweet Christmas gift.

Dear CCP,
Unrecoverable black screen when attempting to start patched client. Sometimes I can hear the music, others not. I had to use `tail -f /var/log/system.log | tee ~/eve_problems.log` to even get these messages, as once the black screen happens, I have to power off the machine. alt+command+esc doesn't even kill it.

Macbook pro 10.5.8 - 4 giga ram - 2.5 core 2 duo
As I said in my topic before, Game take a lot more time to lauch, well to lauch the login screen. As I dual box another install of eve with another Pref folder (editting the plist file in eve app packadge to be sure the 2 installs don't overwrite each others) I have to play in windowed mode and with 2 monitors. For the second one I have to change the seetings about screen resolutions.
Since this patch, as soon as I valid the new resolution all my system goes FUBAR. Freezing to death and releasing partialy queued actions every 10 minits. I can't use my mac anymore.
Solution : shut it down and reboot.

Update on my issue. Removed EVE Preferences folder, and I removed the EVE application folder. I reinstalled EVE via the 3GB download, and I've able to get in now after about a 2 minute black screen wait.
Once in, if I enable HDR, I get a permanent black screen. I rebooted, deleted Prefs folder again, ran EVE client and I'm able to get in again. I'm obviously leaving HDR off until these issues are fixed (HDR might be the entire problem?); however, anti-aliasing works.
What a pain!

Edited by: CCP Gangleri on 15/12/2010 21:53:13 We've still not been able to reproduce this black screen on login issue internally and the only workaround reported to work has been to download the latest build and re-install.
Link to client download: http://content.eveonline.com/mac/eve-premium_005082_213149-mac.dmg
Please try to avoid downloading via wireless network as that has been known to frequently cause file corruption.
If you have any other relevant data about this issue please post in this thread, especially if you have a verified workaround that is simpler than re-installing the client.
We have so far verified that clearing cache (core_public__.dat) does not work for everyone affected by this. HDR does not seem to affect this either.

OSX 10.5.8 here as well. I downloaded new client, same thing happening with the black screen. I even let the black screen sit for almost an hour but still no joy. Finally had to hard restart.
