Edited by: Merdaneth on 26/12/2010 17:35:33 By employing various third parties and subsidiaries Angel Wing has acquired the control of several orphanages in Heimatar. All orphanages now owned by Angel Wing set up and run in complete accordance with Republic law and new residents are continually appropriated through various sources.
Angel Wing is now providing these distraught and discarded youngsters proper care and education. We provide them with a stable home, give them a purpose in life and attempt to raise them as proper moral human beings. As soon as the orphans reach legal adulthood I will offer them a free trip to the Empire for job interviews and employment in my organization should they wish so.
Orphans raised like slaves I am happy to say that the regime used for their care and education is a near exact copy of the one followed by the slave children I own here in the Empire. After some research it became clear that the level of control Minmatar law gives orphanages over such orphans is more than sufficient to use the Amarr slave raising methods we have much experience and success with. Only the chapter of sale of children to other eductional facilities needed to be completely rewritten.
The first reports are very promising. Literature research showed that Matari orphans are a problematic group, with a high incidence of criminal activity, lots of self-worth issues and poor prospects for a productive career in general. The loving but strict regime designed for slaves seems very effective to treat this group at this time.
Facility Locations Of course, I cannot divulge the names or locations of these orphanages as this would expose these children and the dedicated staff to undue risk from Republic citizens who think they donĘt need to respect their own laws.
Angel Wing is proud to provide these services to the Matari people and making an effort to bring many more Matari souls into the embrace of God. It took quite a few trips into Heimatar high-security space the last few months and while it might have looked like my purpose was to intimidate and destroy random terrorists of the Minmatar Militia, the combat operations were merely a convenient cover for this operation.
Donations and Support We are still busy expanding our operations and support in the form of donations are welcomed. To assure a minimal amount of the donations ends up in the hands of corrupt Republic officials, Angel Wing asks you not to send us isk, but materials that we can use to help these poor youngsters. Polytextiles so that they can make their own clothes and bedding, construction blocks so that we can expand the prayer rooms and sleeping quarters, biocells for to heat their rooms during the harshest winter nights and vaccines to combat the numerous infectious diseases that run rampant on these Matari worlds. Think of the children, you can help too!
Please contract such donations to Angel Wing or myself at the Emperor Family Academy in Amarr or at the Six Kin facility in Rens.

Lord Merdaneth, I am very happy to hear of your success in bringing the Word to the misguided, heathen youth of Heimatar. You will have plenty of support in this endeavor I imagine, starting with mine.

Obvious case of smiling face PR for insidious goals, especially considering Merdaneth is an Amarr militia pilot, bereaving Republic children of their parents each day. Really funny.
I almost thought this was a Gallentean endeavour too...humanitarian drives into the Republic was always in the Federation's skillset.
Maybe if you resigned from the 24th, would you be convincing anyone. Meanwhile, serving in the militia, blowing up Republic Fleet ships and orphaning Minmatar children in the process? It's the H word, but then again, it's Amarrian for you. ------------ Luminaire General Seriphyn Inhonores Eleutherian Guard [FDU] |

Maybe the Tribals should have thought about that before launching their attack against the Empire. We are making the best of a horrible situation we did not create.

you sicken me. instead of trying to brainwash kids and turn them into your kickstand, id rather prefer you do something against the real slaves:

is kind of ironic really....
in my travels ive adopted children and orphans all across the empires.
i find it strange that ive adopted 2 Amarrian kids, both girls, one 13 the other 8.
i find it strange that ive left them to thier Amarrian studies in Amarr schools.
I find it justified, to pull them out of these schools and put them in a proper institution.
now.... i wonder where i put those papers for that Gallente school in Atier.... *****************************

Sure you did! It is normal practice for the Amarr Empire (or any other government for that matter) to trust their orphans into the care of someone who publically declared his loyalty to the bloodraiders. That makes so much sense!

Silence, Sansha ally. You have no moral ground left to attack anyone's actions from, least of all the actions of the Imperial Faithful.
Apropo those... Lord Merdaneth. While your intentions are charitable and noble enough, you have failed to consider where these actions will lead your charges. These children will have only two options now; they can escape from an orphanage that they do not desire to be a part of due to the curriculum, and be left on the streets, alone and in a bad way. Or they can remain and become objects of hate and pity in their own nation. Those who don't accept your offer of transport to the Empire when fully grown, that is.
The Amarrians created an empire for the faithful. How faithful do you believe these people will be? Do you honestly believe this will assist the Minmatar and us achieve peace? I don't. More than likely, your operations will invite agression towards any orphanage that is suspected to be run by your organisation, inviting more misery and pain to the Republic's young.
None of us need more of that, please re-consider your actions and how effective or helpful they are, before you go ahead with them.

I'm sure there is a place for them among the many Starkmanir, recent converts or those freed from slavery by the Empress edict who returned to Heimatar.
I can only do my best to help in their upbringing, if I could re-educate the Matari population and free them from this irrational hatred of the Amarrian faith, I would.
I am operating fully within Republic law. If the law incorrectly allows Matari children to be raised in an Amarrian way or with the Amarr faith, then tyrant Shakor should change the law. Until then I'm helping poor orphans and doing the work of God.

Of course, there are those that don't believe people can change or do things out of the goodness of their hearts. I, on the other hand, can't see a problem with what this gentleman is doing. Have you ever thought that he may be doing this to give the children a future, or has it never occured to you closed minded simpletons?
Good luck with you endeavours, Merdaneth. I'm sure you'll need it with these wolves baying at your door.

Ah, yet another way for our non-capsuleer associates to infiltrate the Empire. Bravo Merdaneth, those identities you'll provide should hold up nicely.
Of course you'll have to wonder whether I'm bluffing by saying this publicly. Or perhaps it's a double-bluff? Make sure all the orphans have stringent background checks old boy.
Sleep well.

The State stands ready to asist our Amarrian allies in this touching act of kindness. As such Science and Trade has contracted a few Hyasyoda Badgers to haul aid relief to the Rens in the Heimatar region. The cargo includes nutritional supplements, medical supplies, and pre-fab habitation structures. In addition we have included a few bio-lab and field hospitals modules as you mentioned viral outbreaks can spread rather quickly.
In light of how this effort by Meraneth has attracted Blood Raiders attention, we will contact the CPF to arrainge escorts for the transports, and suppliment any additional patrols you deem appropriate.
Although the State has no jurisdiction or justification to move military assests to aid your orphanages. We are confident the Repbublic fleets, and Security patrols have no objection to escorts protecting a humanitarian relief effort that has drawn Sansha lap dog loyalist attentions.

Edited by: Lord Maximullis on 27/12/2010 00:53:06 I applaud your kindness and generosity Merdaneth.
I do hope that the children are not being indoctrinated in any religious dogma or doctrine. I wish that they are instead being taught critical thinking, looking at the various faiths, their beliefs and their history from a purely objective standpoint, so that in later life they may be able to make their own decisions.
I worry that this may not be the case and if it is not I implore you to make it so, lest it conflict with Republican education standards and law and your charity gets shut down.

And what, may I ask, would be the reasons for such burning hatred? I can guess but it is better to know what we have done now to warrant the genocide of trilions...
Lord Merdaneth, that you are operating under Republican laws is only to be expected. I am not concerned with the legality of your operations, I am quite sure that are sound. I am concerned with how this will be percieved by the Republic in general. I can forsee alot of bad situations and few positive ones by basically provoking them like this, even if that was not your intent.

I have done my research: Brutor-run orphanages mostly teach Brutor traditions, orphans in Sebiestor-run orphanages learn mostly Sebiestor customs etc. etc. Certainly critical thinking or 'teaching a wide variety of beliefs and traditions' has never been a part of the standard Matari curriculums, so I have no idea why you are trying to sketch such as normal or even desired.
The orphanages I sponsor are being run like most Republic orphanages, mostly teaching traditions related to only one tribe, in our case the Starkmanir. If you think this is somehow illegal, I urge you to hire better legal advisors, or at least consult with them before you say such things in public.
