Mas Cream's original scam proposal was brilliantly entertaining. I knew it was something people would remember. I wanted to be a part of it, so I threw a bunch of ISK at it and pretty much figured I'd gotten my money's worth. Now I've gotten all my money back and then some, which... makes it pretty cool as alleged scams go.

Posting to confirm that I have been fake-scammed out of minus millions of isk. I'm not sure exactly how many millions, because I am currently distracted by replaying Final Fantasy 13, but I have definitely lost negative millions.

and if everyone is selling 10 for 100m i don't think anyone can get the first prize (reward plex x3 = 370m x 3 = 1110m, to get 150 shara = 100m x 15 = 1500M)

Worst scam ever. I got back all my investment and even more on top of it. I feel a lot like Monty Brewster, try to get rid of money and it just keeps coming back.
Thanks Mas for the fun. I've been smiling about this whole thread for days now and waking up this morning to see the wallet increase has only made it better.

Confirming I have received dividend payments of
49999999.99, 50000000.00 and 0.01
on a 50 mil initial investment. The people who invested first (before the first dividend) must have made a mint.
I fear, however, that the next copy-cat fake-scam may actually turn out to be a fake-fake-scam. Oh lawd.

Entertainingly, in addition to the lively and genuine trade, people are also now scamming with the shares for a fake scam.
The varying levels of recursion, tautology and oxymoronity in this may well yet give me a migraine.

Everyone with "half a brain" said this was a scam from the start and are sitting on profits.
Those that took the time to visit the MACSI channel in game have learned there is no phase 3 and this character & corp are going inactive after the PLEX are given away.

It seemed like it was going to be a ponzi scam, but since he actually paid out all the money people put in, thats sort of moot.
What it seems like now a pump and dump scam. Mas is generating TONS of demand for the shares, and if he bought a large number under alts, he can sell it before the demand crashes.

Doesn't seem like his style tbh. My opinion is that he is shortening the list of shareholders for a possible phase 3. As far as 'no phase 3'....misdirection

I know my word may mean nothing, even though I have given out free isk, but the only alt that is a share holder in that list above is "Mas Cream", and it's one share - and I have no interest in buying shares!
I find it funny nobody can simply accept the simple truth that I have more isk than I know what to do with and decided to have a little fun with it!

The corp isn't necessarily expected to do much/anything at this point, I think. It's more that people who figure they're *not* going to collect enough shares for the prizes, or try to, think they can make extra money from selling off their shares now they're done...
... or they might be scammin'.

So I have seen conversations, accusations, and thoughts that the 'scam' is I won't give out the PLEX, and someone just asked if I'm profiting from this...
on Jan 14th I gave away 670 Million Isk.
on Jan 17 I gave away 1.240 Billion isk
on Jan 21 I gave away 5 Billion Isk, then refunded everyone the 5 Billion total investment, 5 Million per share!
So - I gave away 6,910,000,000 - 6.91 Billion isk.
6 PLEX on Jita Market are worth 340 Million right now. 340x6= 2.04 Billion
If I "Scammed" folks by not giving away the PLEX, I STILL gave out 6.91 Billion isk, so I must ask, would I still be a scammer ?
That's one heck of a debate right there, one I'll sit back and watch.
