I lost 2 Industrials and was podded twice today by a Pirate who was camping a rather busy stargate for several hours. One person disrupted our entire corps plans. We tried numerous times to gather up a fleet and the ebil Piewat would either disappear or blow up whatever we sent at him So lemme know who you think the best solo ganker is...

Linkage TWD Linkage I personally single these two out, because of past encounters with 5-6 wingmates with me, and our inability to bring either of them down on several occassions. I have heard alot of good things about TWD but have been fortunate enough never to have encountered him. How about Tank CEO, Zeal Dragon, or Trevedian? I have had the misfortune to come across them.

Fed is definitely one the best solo BS pilots there are. Two things about these kills that elevate him even further: 1. He flies a Tempest with projectiles 2. He soloed three BS in Manarq, a system camped by our 4000 war targets 23/7... I wouldn't go there alone in a battleship unless I wanted to claim the insurance on it. EDIT: I just noticed the last one was a Gankageddon II... However, some peeps have impressed me (most of them mentioned already... with good reason). 1. Zeal Dragon. His stats do the talking. 2. Fedaykin Naib. Seen him do his business on both sides. The tempest of his is a pain in the boot. 3. Axel. Absolutely the only member of PA in a BS that I ever been worried about. He has a megathron and he can use it. 4. Slothe. I've known him as long as I have been pvp'ing and currently, he has a perfect setup on his dominix and once he stops messing around and re-discovers his old naginata ways then he will mince an alliance. There are some RKK whom I believe should be at the top of this but won't because it always looks bad nominating your own. Anyway, when it comes to actual 1 vs 1 pvp hunting in the game (and I don't mean just sitting doing 1 vs 1 against your mates), these 4 people are so far above anyone else I have seen in eve that it is scary. Not only because of thier pvp abilities but also because they are extremely hard working and will spend ages waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Respect. Siddy can't speak a word of English (not really), and that's even more reason to fear him. Oddly enough, all 3 of these pilots favor(ed) the Tempest. . . Good times will always be remembered. And TBH, when I see some 'bad boys' talk about their achievements it makes me laugh. I had to stop playing. Zeal joined ATUK[BOB]. Judging from their killboard, he's scoring quite a bit less BS kills now, yet he's still #1 on BOB's solo list, and with hardly no losses. And he can fly all races' BSs and master them all. You guys really should try fighting him in game sometimes rather than try to kill him on the forums.

Drevan Delicante	Posted - 2005.01.25 00:57:00 - [86] Edited by: Drevan Delicante on 25/01/2005 00:59:27 I fought Fedaykin scorp vs scorp back in the day's (mind you it was another char altogether) up in FD-MLJ if I remember, he had his EW setup and I had my shield tank (before CPR nerfs) it was a pretty even fight I think, although he wound up running, imo because back in those days scorps just couldn't deliver enough firepower too actually outdamage an XL SB, specially if that sb was accompanied by some 6 wards, had a nice chat with him afterwards and found that my FoF's where wearing down his shields faster then he was wearing mine down. Oh and btw. he didn't run until a corp mate off mine had done no insta no mwd 6 jump drive in a raven. I definetly nominate him for t3h win

Sassinak- A pain in the ass and the creator of the gankageddon,he is a pure ***** to fight Zeal Dragon- I didn't have much time on-line when I was in ATUK but I did get to see him fight once,scary as hell I was happy I was in ATUK. Axel- I fought alot in the GNW amd I saw him in a few fights in the early days in Pure Blind, one of the handful of PA I had respect for. Stavros- A great guy and a great pilot,seeing him in a inty was why I learned to fly them. Kileak- the guy who taught Zeal and Dalman,organised the MASS frig squad for the tourney and in my mind the absolute zenith of Apoc pilots, my few talks with him helped forged me into a decent pvper. Talks hardly ever and tries to be a cold player but is just a cool yet sarcastic guy. Oh and has max gunnery in all energy based guns as well as ship support skills and can fly all amar ships and has most of those skills at 5. The OLD school CA may remember him. Hasn't been podded since beta. Tank Ceo- Undoubtly the ultimate raven pilot, saw him fight a few times in syndicate,just scary. I look forward to working with him in FOE. Please stop being a third rate flamer,I am tired of reactivating my account just to kick your ass.

Solo BS ganking is mainly about fitting...but there are a lot of little tricks you can do in a battleship to get an edge over your opponent, and none of them relate to in game skills as much as real life ability to see what needs to be done in this situation. You do need a fair amount of skillpoints to do it well, but anybody over 10 mil should be able to compete.

I'd probably say the best solo fighter I've fought would be either Sith Bandon (he was in TWB at the time) or Illumino (from NSN). Both do things with Crows that you really don't expect Crows to be able to do. It's all "zip, whoosh, scramble, web, bang, splat, g'bye!". Illumino gets extra points for being a really nice guy, too. There's no meaning to life when you cling only to common sense

For those of you who don't know snoy has been living in Stain for almost a year now, and he does have a gank squad with him now. But he still goes out solo, and I have see him kill so much stuff it is amazing. Best one had to be when he undocked saw a warp bubble, killed it 3 ceptors, and a jamming scorp, with his tempest, then warped away.

Anyway, when it comes to actual 1 vs 1 pvp hunting in the game (and I don't mean just sitting doing 1 vs 1 against your mates), these 4 people are so far above anyone else I have seen in eve that it is scary. Not only because of thier pvp abilities but also because they are extremely hard working and will spend ages waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Respect.
