minmatar militia solo pvpers all gone?

So naturally I joined the amarr militia so I could fight them. But now looking back at the killboards it seems you can easily make the minmatar solo kill award list with half the solo kills you would need to make the amarr board. http://www.amarr-empire.net/killboard/?a=awards&m=1&y=2011 http://www.minmatar-militia.org/kb/?a=awards I guess this has changed. It appears Minmatar no longer have any good solo pvpers. All gate camps and bait ships. Finding them in FW is like looking for a needle in a haystack or more accurately a gold ring in a turd pile.

That's pretty much the main reason I pulled my alt out of the Amarr vs Min FW because there were never any Amarr to be found out side large gangs and if I did find them it was always some sort of faction frig, ceptor or a mission runner. The blobs of course never had problems finding easy ganks, but it's kinda hard to compete with that. Sad thing is I joined Cal Mil to fight all the l33t Gallente PVPer's and can't find any of them either, with out 20 others as back up, so I guess that's EVE.

To me, there's fair 1v1 or 1vX where everyone in the battle has a chance to win or lose; and unfair (i.e. gank) where at least one side stands no chance. Personally, I prefer fair willing to lose my ship to gain experience of how to fight differently next time (in the unfair, there's not much to learn other than it was unfair). If there is a desire for more solo in FW, then both sides must largely reduce the ganks and if not reducing fleet size, at least not gate camp (which I never understood because both sides complain about pirates gate camping)... and try not to station camp as well (I logged last night due to not feeling well as well as the group I was with wanted to station camp -- something I'm not into). Thank you. lol the blobbers are always gonna blob and the guys whom will never fight unless they know they can win ,will never fight unless they know they will win. It's just the way it is and likely will never change. It's the whole safety in numbers thing as well as it's much easier to get KM's while being in a gang fleet vs going out and actually fighting for them. Personally, I've changed my tactics to the point I don't "solo" as much but rather dual box 2 combat ships. By doing this I end up with more opportunity to take on small gangs. Added to that it's more challenging IMO trying to fly two combat ships at the same time.

However, I could argue that I was doing just as well solo kill wise while in gallente militia a few months back... I would consider going back to minnie space for a month to prove my point but meh, fw got stale. Amarr soloists Cearain, I used to think you were a moderately pragmatic poster, but here you are just full of crap. I know people in the Amarr militia, real soloists/small gang players, who are friends of mine (used to be in Hydra/Genos) and even they think that the Amarr are ruining it for everyone at the moment with the massive gangs.
