The shortcuts, especially D for docking and jumping, doesn't work if the overview is not selected. Even if I have a gate selected, and is in range, the game won't notice the keypress unless the overview is also active.
Might seem like a minor problem as you usually fly by the overview anyway, but typically when I warp somewhere I change the view of the ship somewhat once in warp (being careful not to click anything so I lose the selection on the gate itself), but as soon as I do that the overview won't be active any more, and then when I press D having arrived at the gate, nothing happens.

And as always...ill have to have one of my buddies burn it to a dvd and install from that......damn odd that i should have to do that...its not 100% of the time but prob is 80%

The Download took some 3 hours. After that it told me it failed and the client needs to be fixed and I shall start the repair tool.
Repair tool told me there are 1004 MB missing ...SO WHAT THE HELL DID I WAIT THREE HOURS WAITING FOR? And why did that installer count up numbers I never got?
The Repair tool downloaded and editet stuff some 2 hours, then, just before it finished, it failed. Restarting the repair tool tells me it can't do anything at all. WTF?
Deleted client, downloading client again, ETA goddamn SIX HOURS!
I just pray that new client file is incursion-updated and ready to roll.
I have a corp to run and all I can do is send and get mails. **** that!

Well, with fiddling (on my desktop, this is RIGHT out on my laptop apparently. It involves repeatedly changing graphics settings) I can get through the actual creation of my toon, but when I hit "next" I get a blank screen (with occasional glowing white eyeballs, oddly enough). So... I can't actually COMPLETE the character creation.

Could someone confirm that eve gate is not working on iPod touch? I'm able to log on, but any Other screen results in an error. It worked pre-1.1.0, and was quite useful for checking mail on the go.

Ahh, there it is 
I designed meself with one, just to find out that the API picture displays without (was fine InGame at first logon, though).
Another smallish issue: station interiors did not display, including the ship (only the effects of lighting on the HUD) until I changed AA settings back and forth...
/me wants the cowl back...
addendum: Just checked IG, hood is gone, the whole cowl is gone....except on the large login pic |

My issue with the character creator is that my character seems to have some form of lazy eye. similar to the picture in here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strabismus

Here's another one.
In the mission "Dread Pirate Scarlet" I managed to one shot the boss npc in the penultimate room, meaning that she did not spawn in the final room now preventing me from completing the mission.

The agent lets you complete the mission, I just didn't get the 'Objective Complete' in the journal entry.

ill make this simple plea....
can you make it so the download doesn't force you to download to the C: drive in Windows. I have a small SSD that holds the OS and not much else. Guess what, since you default the download to the temp on C: I run out of room before it finishes. It then errors and the repair tool...guess what...fills the C: drive....and.... ERRORS AS WELL!!! 
I will now have to re-download the WHOLE GAME!
so fix this...
PLEASE!!!!

Ooops .. I've got an Athlon64 which support SSE2, but I'm not running a 64 bit OS ie I'm running good old reliable Win2K which is 32 bit..
Client fails to run ..
"Procedure Entry Point GetSystemWow64DirectoryA could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernal32.dll"
Now why would you want to be looking for a 64 bit entry point in a 32 bit os?
Now really ****ed off after a 2.5 hour download and install..

I am another one of those who can see the splash screen (bootstrapper) but then, after that is gone, the exe file process just hangs there doing nothing, never getting into the game. That's with a full install on a Windows 7, Pentium 4 3Gb Prescott, NVidia 6600GT (latest driver)... don't know what else to try. 
Fourth install, second full client download, btw.

When I warp to a location jet cans, secure cans, wrecks down appear even though they're selected to be displayed in the overview. when I click on another overview tab and then back to the original one they appear. When I warp out, they stay on the overview but appear shaded.

General Known issues:
New Character Creator by default selects the last screenshot of the character, instead of selected one. Keep this in mind when creating your new portrait!

After using the new character creator, players may find that their 3D scene is completely black but the UI is still visible.
Some players are unable to load the new character creator.
Some players may experience their desktop and screen stay dark after alt tabbing out of the EVE client. If you are experiencing this please run EVE as administrator and this should correct this issue.
Some character may appear different from the character selection screen to what appears in game.
Some players may experience that the shortcut tab in the ESC menu is blank.
Some players are unable to remove neutral pilots from the overview.
Some users may experience some speed issues with the new character creator feature, we recommend trying to changing some of these graphics settings:
- Shader Quality û Setting this to low will have a drastic effect on the quality and availability of features in the character creator.
- Low quality characters û This setting has minimal impact on the avatar itself, most noticeable effect is the reduced lighting and shadow effects.
- Physically simulated cloth and hair û Disabling can have a drastic effect on performance.
- Character creation texture quality û This has a pretty big impact on memory usage.
I love how they neglected to mention all the people who are unable to even install the patch due to verification failures/broken repair tool/corrupted downloads....It would have been nice for them to at least acknowledge they are aware of the issue and are working on it....But ya know....

My computer doesn't support that.
You know that .3% were part of the original beta test, and continued through until now...
Since CCP is unwilling to fix an issue for that .3% maybe that .3% will find another way to spend 15$ US a month on instead of paying it to CCP. Ive seen this game grow abd Ive enjoyed it. If I have to spend 300-500 To upgrade my system will CCP reimburse me for my lost time and for the trouble? No
Im seriously considering cancelling my account(s) moving on to another game which my system supports and be done with the numerous patching failures, bad implementation and overall lack of compassion from CCP!
Thank you again CCP for screwing over a small percentage of the gaming population!!

This is a pretty big patch !
I downloaded the installation file - which for those using multiple clients esp on different machines is saved in (Win XP folder)
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\CCP\EVE\Downloads
I copied this to same folder on other PC to save the looong download again on other PC.
then running the patch takes much less time on other machines.
However my install folder pre-patch was about 5.95Gb and post patch 7.8GB.
I had 3gb free pre-patch (after downloading the 1.2+ GB file) and that wasn't enough - Disk Full !!
So had to run Disk clean up and managed to get 4.3Gb free which seems to be about the min free space you'd need to patch (plus the 1.2 gb for file means you really need at least 5.5Gb free space on the install drive to patch on a windows machine !!)
I had 2 clients on this drive and after patching one there's no longer any room for the second one to be patched unless I uninstall programs (on my 36Gb 10K rpm raptor system drive with nothing but programs installed )
So this may be handy info for anyone having trouble with patching or multiple clients/installs on Windows XP and maybe also Vista/WIn 7.

Overview settings are borked
It is no longer possible to deselect neutral standing ships from the overview. Even though I click and click the show pilots with neutral standings, they remain on my overview. Many of the other options under Filter and States is borked as well.

Thanks for making evegate work mostly properly on my phone. The edit box is a bit small but now accepts cursor movements, linebreaks, and capital letters. Sometime the all mail page throws an error, but not always.
We shall see how the game goes in 5 hours.

Windows XP 64 bit
Experienced about 4 crashes before I was able to load game.
First one generated this error:
EVE: Evefile.exe - Application Error
The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000005) occured in the application at location ox04c3210f
Click on Ok to terminate the program
After few more crashes I was able to load game.
Similar thing happened last patch, it took CCP to fix some stuffinternally I guess because next day it just stopped doing it.
