I recreated my char. just fine but I at the top I get PhysX > CPU and it wont go away It is in the game also. OS = Windows 7 64bit Graphics = EVGA GeForce GTX 285 1GB 512-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Posted - 2011.01.18 22:56:00 - [308] I have no idea if this is why, but i went to my download folder and opened properties on the eve_premium_setup_221279.exe and checked the box to run as administrator and i had an option to "unblock" so i unblocked. the repair tool ran for about 3 minutes and now its beginning to install * completed install. (note - i uninstalled and re-downloaded the entire game.) standing by to see if it works... *IT WORKED dunno how but my client installed and i am sitting at the character selection/creation screen currently. no idea wtf i did, just beat it with a hammer -----------------------------------------------

I've been faithfully checking the known issues and periodically reading through these threads, but have yet to see anything official since the patch went "live" if the extremely slow download times are a known issue or not. Knowing that relatively simple fact would let me know if I should be attempting what my computer is guesstimating would be THREE AND A HALF DAYS of downloading repairs to a patch I cancelled 4 hours into what it was saying would be a 19-hour download. I understand that everyone's very busy, and that you can't reply to every question asked. But if you're picking and choosing what might benefit people to hear? Count this as a vote for "whether or not the installer and/or manual update issue of overlong download times is a known issue". Thanks much for everything Boiglio

No sculpting indicators, holding down left button and moving mouse only results in the entire character moving. I've seen this reported in other random threads. Or you can start any other game and it will reset everything back. if you have ATI card try to reinstall drivers

Racuel Cutting Edge Incorporated RAZOR Alliance	Posted - 2011.01.18 23:29:00 - [330] Can't 100% verify that this is the case but so far it seems to fit: When I have used the character creation and then quit the game (doesn't matter if it's the character selection screen or in game) Windows 7 reports that ExeFile.exe has failed (chrashed or whatever) and is trying to fix it. I have only managed to have this happend after using the character creation, all other times it has worked fine. Windows 7 home premium, intel i3, nvidia gt 335m, 3 gig ram.
