1. You can see how many pedophiles/kids play the game.
2. You can see how many emo-people/kids play the game.
3. You can see how many japanese animation obsessed people play the game.
Really puts things into perspective and makes me want to kill my fellow pilot even more-so.

At any given time, 50 to 75 percent of them are dark haired anime looking faces with few defining characteristics to tell them apart. I have noticed that trend as well, and find it very interesting.

M'lord, I might suggest a reason for this interesting finding of yours.
Anime is a pop culture phenomenon at this time. The imagery is pretty much everywhere you look. Perhaps that is the reason why, subconsciously perhaps, that people are attracted to the avatars displaying these traits. If this were the mid-sixties you might find the avatars depicting chubby unshaven hippie chicks more prevalent on the leader board. But it's the '10s now and Anime is the popular thing.

It could have been 95% Amarr/Amarr in the BoNE voting system but it would still be Achuras and Jin-Meis holding the top 50 positions as it is based on looks, not learning attributes.
Also according to the stats over at EVEboard it should be just as many Civre on the leaderboard as there are Achuras and hardly no Jin-Mei...
