So we have three winners. 2 Minmatar Ships, 1 Gallente Ship and 0 Caldari Ships. The Caldari will be very happy about this. Looking at the outcome, I couldn't care less about the result, since my race is getting nothing out of it.

CCP is proofing all peoples , who had find the entrie into the last ones, by a very hard way.
Nearly 2 Month¦s + to post the results is a way to much for beeing annouced "soon".
I hope it will not share the same end like the "where in the world is Trinity " contest.

I didn't even know about this.
I liked CCP for being a company with very close ties to players (and I still do).
I think it's just important to see that it has not always been sunny days and rainbows.

Dear CCP
You run a contest seeking user input on starship designs, and then.... simply forget about it.
Finalists were chosen.... And we have heard nothing.
Seriously guys, it doesn't take that much effort to sit down for one or two hours and decide who's designs make it, and who's designs don't.
I could do it in 10 minutes just by looking at the art and saying, I like this, and this and this. If it's a group of judges, you take consensus. You lay out the finalists and have the judges mark off which ships they like the most by numbers. The ships that receive the most votes, go to the next tier. You take those ships, have the judges look at them and decide which they like the most and least of those, and number them accordingly. etc etc etc.
Not hard to do. Nor terribly time consuming. So why CCP, do you take so long to do something so simple? It is simply ridiculous and shows poorly (though i'm not surprised, CCP has a well earned reputation for not keeping to their promises or timetables) that it has taken you so long to accomplish this.

I don't think they'll lock the thread. I heard they said in the test forums we'd get news in a few weeks.
I'm pretty sure they understand how we all feel about this, and I sincerely hope that when those few weeks pass, and we get our answers, that we will be satisfied.
I think its important for them to know though, that our expectations are now pretty high. Personally, I'd be expecting them to say that the reason for the delay was so that they could get the new ships ready for immediate deployment on sisi at the time of the announcement.

That Amarr Command Ship is BADASS. It feels like the only ship in this collection of submissions that really feels like it could be in EVE, though a few of the Minmatar picks are believable too.

this.. when they (ccp ppl!) say "soon" it will take "few years" according to this if they say few weeks well.. i just hope my life time would be enough to see that :p
