Would have thought the (ingame) manufacturers would have begun production on a new caldari fleet by now. May I ask why so many people chose to creat a caldari ship which follows the same principals of current ships.. IE .. Old hunks/sheets/slabs of steel ?

Lets face it, Missiles are not what they used to be so i'd like to see a newer ship with turret preferences, one that is a match for other races turreted battleships possibly even armour tanked. Yes yes.. a Minos with rails or lazors but armour tanked, larger than a rokh and smaller than a dread and requires low level Captial skills but can be flown in high sec aswell as low.

The first contest..... Ships disqualified for having EvE race logos (e.g. Amarr, Caldari etc). Limp wristed Judges from an out of touch artist site who thought we were below them! LA Battlewut? That contest was flawed from the start, just like this one. As many voiced on these forums, we did not have failbook accounts and we weren't prepared to get one. Yes, some of these folks show great talent, really like the Mentor and Abdiel. I was personally rooting for giving Sansha a battlecruiser. There was a pretty cool one that looked like a mix of a phantasm and a nightmare that appears to have not gotten to the finals. Actually giving every pirate faction a battlecruiser would have been very cool. Either that or a strategic cruiser. Much of the empire ship classes are crowded enough I think. Oh well.
