CCP is like the UN\NATO.they talk the talk and never walk the walk.they would rather ingnore the problem than deal with it.why not have player designed space stations also.a new design in game every two years with the major game expansion.I would rather have new space stations to orbit and dock to than that damn Captain Quarters for Incarna.along with some graphically interesting terra type planets with moons that rotate on their axis like Earth does.the word SOON = NEVER.

CCP will probably save the announcement until fanfest then give us some marketing schpiel about the new ship revolutionizing the game.
Of course CCP will get their "Wow...amazing" at fanfest from all the easily pleased fanbois getting a new toy to look at (not even desinged by CCP) and have their re-affirming 'ignoring the forum' was right feeling afterwards.

yes, let's try to keep this topic neutral.
I mean I took part in the contest with a ship model myself and I'm as interested in the result as any of the guys here, but whining has never helped anything (xept when I was little :p)

Considering that Fanfest is just next week. One can make a hopeful assumption that is when we will get any info if at all. Hopefully they balance out the other factions with similar ships.

Another speculation could be: "not announcing bad news shortly before the fan fest starts"
It keep`s the waves on a low level.
No statements about request around this, if they are bad or good, looks unserious.
The voting itselfs runs via facebook, so i ask myself, where the problem is to release the results.
And simply telling, who are the last 20.
The answer could be in low interest from facebook users.
Probally numbers, which have simply not reached the effect, they hoped in doing this.
It would be interesting to know, if new players came via this.
Open such a contest, running like this, wasent a good idea.
It was simply to fast, doing this, Specially with the new Patch, include organizing the fan fest etc. .
Contest like this, will have in future allways a bad taste.
U start beeing not that shiny anymore.

How u can rescue the situation?
comparable to my job:
When organizing a menue for guests they had booked, and telling them after the starter "Your main courses will be served soon", letting them wait wait 1.5 hrs without feedback, it will have bad consequenses for me.
Something u dont have to fear.
If there where problems, they should be told, and they can understand it.

It would be so simple just to say "Yeah, it'll be unveiled at fanfest" But they haven't. Which makes me think that perhaps this may have completely dropped off of their radar.
