He has found us out. We are all after xTHE ONEx, everyone in eve that can load a turret has nothing better to do than kill him. The map obviously lies, and magnetically draws him into the unsafe realms where he can be murdered for the enjoyment of "sub-humans"
And as to having a "friend" - why would he want to? Why would he want to share the wealtth of a career that is netting SOOOO much that all he can own is 1 indy.
Oh yeah, and what type of BS was it that killed him? one that can tank sentries, AND have a scramble strength of 5+ (where do I get one of those)

I want xTHE ONEx in a movie... Can I get fraps of you in your indy? I can see it now.... Bravely trying to leave the station once again... surrounded by evil pirates of the most dastardly nature xTHE ONEx undocks and slowly aligns for warp.  Ohnoes!@!#! The pirates warped in with their merlins! RUNNnnn but despite the overwhelming odds the xTHE ONEx fears no evil. No xTHE ONEx's counter offencive is already brewing in his mind... "I'll start a viciously long and incomprehenceable flaming post on the forums... Muh hahahaha that'll teach these dirty pirates a trick or two" he thinks. Within minutes and without putting up a fight his indy pops and spills it's precious cargo of veldspar and mission garbage into a can. The locals make fun of him but he knows all that time training up social skills and industry wasn't for naught. "Who needs combat skills in a game where you kill things" he thinks "I'll show them who's the '1337est indy pilot in the game ... I'm the uber r0x3rz rUl3z x 3.1415927... w00t +3h l33test " And everyone in eve knows he's right.
xTHE ONEx you're nearly as funny as Jack Handy from old saturday night live episodes. I've struggled to find good things to quote in my bio but now you sir are the topic of choice... With your witty comments and elegent writing style you've won my heart. Thank you man... thank you /emote cries. You deserve one of those real american hero awards from budwiser... What happened to 'A' 'B' and 'C'? BTW I support this move... you'll have whole loads of fun. Might I suggest joining a corp. If you read the reviews on eve, many of them point out that gameplay is slow and hard until you join a corporation and make some friends. I can see you're not good at making friends though so lets start with the corp part maybe someone will feel sorry for you and you can use that to your advantage. Maybe start your own for people like you.... I think you should call it "Corp of indies" No one will F*** with you then! you can be sure of that! That name is scary. |

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have been playing Eve for 5 (count 'em... you may need to use your feet) days. In this time I've been blown out of my ship twice leaving me with 13K the first time and enough to buy my kestrel back the second. My aim was to be a bounty hunter... however, after reading this topik  I have decided to trade in 0.0 space in an Indy carrying my +4 Sword of Justice and Boots of Better Healing in order that I develop a sense of humour like yours.
I understood when I signed up to this game that it would give me the freedom to follow the path that I choose and that others, just like me, would have that very same right. Piracy is part of the game, likewise, so is bounty hunting. But not one pirate here has complained about that.
Would you buy Half-Life 2 if those combine troopers didn't attack you? Would you play Championship Manager if your team never had to win?
I think not. This game is an open ended challenge - too ALL not just one. But ultimately that is all that it is...
A GAME.
At least you can't get podded in real life, not that I'm sure several members here would love to.

No really its the only logical answer that will work. BTW i'm not a pirate/gatecamper or whatever. There is nothing shy of a cheat code (which doesn't exist so don't ask) that is going to help you. Killing people (any people) is what some people have chosen to do. I and thousands of others before and after me have learned to find ways to deal with gatecamping. Several people have made suggestions, just becasue you don't like them doesn't invalidate them.
