Einherjarr	Posted - 2005.01.31 17:35:00 - [211] what i love most about this is that xthe onex has been sitting in front of his computer with this page opening it refreshing every few minutes to reply to new posts with his usual candour. its brilliant. i particularly love his use of emoticons everywhere theres a different emoticon thats not really linked to anything in any way , id love to help u understand the way the game works, but you have to help urself first. the one, dont say this is a non constructive post and that im an asshat for not trying to explain and help, i did that several pages back (and tried my best to be helpful, guess im not that good at it then), as did everyone else, i think most have given up trying, but you can always hold out in hope for someone to come home from work or just wake up (time differences) who can help you out another 5 pages.

I will try to describe the core of what everyone is saying,highlighting the most relevent parts for easy scan-reading CCP, the people that designed this game, want there to be PVP without consent.It is a core part of the game that they have crafted.While 'in game' attacking and destroying an undefended Indy is not honorable action, the person doing so is sticking to the game as it was intended to be played, and would most likely honorably go down with their ship if they were lured into a trap by the indy. Logging off to save your ship is abusing a safety feature put in place to save people who have accidentle disco's. Using it to save your ship breaks the 'suspension of disbelief' that this game attempts to create.The only reason it is not an exploit is because CCP cannot tell if a person really has had an accidental disco, or has just ripped their lead out of their PC. The problem you seem to be having is seperating the people playing the game, from the roles people play in the game. If you attack people ingame,that just indicates you are role playing a 'bad person'. If you logg to save your ship, this indicates a lack of moral fibre in real life. Do you understand yet? Ill shorten it even more Pirating=Bad in game Loggin=Bad in real life Ironic that 'the one' is having trouble seperating 'in game' from 'real life' I hope this helps, while sticking to the core of your original post I have supped the milk of human kindness, and discovered i am lactose intolerant
