After getting hacked, I spent over a month missioning to try to pay back the investors share. It wasn't until in the end, CCP completed its investigation and returned what was left. This happened well over a year, I think you should know that's more than enough time to rebuild and sell it off. The main reason I sold off Flux tech was that I couldn't be arsed to unanchor 200-something POS module at 2 towers in wspace.
Well, you claim you were hacked. It's equally possible that you just failed. Your business was in trouble before that claim. Remember your whiny thread about poor returns from research? So, no, I don't believe you sold Flux.

Locked down by...?
Nobody. Is there really any point in locking them down considering that there's several methods to unlock them without imitating shareholder vote?
So nobody is going to lock the BPOs down? Whatever happened to your OP statement that, "T24U has approximately 27b of capital component blueprints locked down.
And please don't tell me investors are supposed to trust you to lock BPOs down yourself. After all, you're the careless git who couldn't be arsed to lock BPOs down in Flux, and lost some to the, umm, purported hacker of your account.
More... you're lying about there being no point to lock BPOs down. In the other thread you opened asking for advice on secirity, I gave you a simple and effective method for security:
Quote: What you're proposing is a mini One Stop without the research alliance. I suggest this setup:
1. Open a new corp with one active CEO/shareholder/trustee (eg Grendell). Want more? Go for 3 shareholders max, none of whom should be you. 2. The CEO purchases the BPOs and ensures they are locked down. 3. Your alt(s) in the corp have director roles for ease of management. You put up the POS(s) and run the copy jobs. 4. Public investment (IPO or bond) is limited to 90% of BPO NPC value. Public money is given to the CEO, never you, to enable him to purchase the BPOs. 5. In-game shares in another corp are unnecessary. You could keep a simple manual ledger. 6. Sign up mercs.
That's it. Simple. Works.
Of course, if you're planning a scam, you'll avoid that.

I've asked breaker77 if he was available to conduct a fact check audit on 3 of my accounts.
First, Breaker is a friend of yours so I doubt he'd have the necessary objectivity to do that. Second, a fact check is useless. Existence of BPOs, invention assets and PI planetary setups needs to be verified. This requires a full audit, and ongoing performance audits.
Last of all, what returns do you anticipate? 2.5% or less?
This is either a careless scam in the making, or it's a very pathetic and ill-considered business proposal. The proposal as it stands offers zero security on 36B by someone who has a history of ineptitude.

How do you want me to prove that I was hacked or I just simply failed the business? Why would I go through the whole ordeal of getting my account locked up by CCP, mission for a month or so just for what? 10b?

Are you incapable of reading? Cosmo being a scammer shouldn't have come as a surprise to some. The T4U system was flawed from the off, and the trustees were negligent. Use the template I suggested. Ask Grendell or Chribba.
Originally by: Brock Nelson Blueprint's already purchased and locked down, what more do you want me to do?
You ought to know exactly what to do to provide security for your investors. Make Grendell/Chribba CEO and sole shareholder. Have them ensure lockdown before investors send money.

I have nothing against Breaker. However, he himself agreed he wasn't the right person for this job, given his friendship with you. As for suggesting somebody else, you know very well who the other two active auditors are. Still playing dumb? Right, one is VV who did your first audit. Guess who the other auditor is?
Quote: Isn't a fact check show that I can do this or that given the resources I have in terms of skills and asset?
Just ask VV what would be involved in verifying your assets, capabilities and business plan. Hint: it's a bit more than the diluted fact checks recently mooted on MD.

Making anything less than 3-4b with 3 invention and 5 production alts is testament to either being lazy/having little online time or simply making bad business decisions. With you being online 80% of the year I guess we can rule out one of the three.
You can take most of the vanilla t2 mods (dcu, cap recharger and so on), only have alts with production efficiency 4, invention skills not higher than 2-3, no own component production and buying at jita sell prices and still you'd be hard pressed not to exceed 3b if you're actually using your alts.
Log in 3 times a day with your invention alts and you have 90 inventions/day. Average profit should lie upwards of 1-1.5m per invention job conducted. Initial investment is miniscule and so is the amount of hauling or heck even thinking required to get it done. 5 prod alts are enough to produce your own t1 mods/r.a.m. and all the t2 bpcs you'll invent. Getting the goods to move is no problem at that scale. And this market doesn't change much at all.
On that note what exactly is it you're inventing? Since you don't have any good profit margins to destroy you could as well tell everyone. --

Edited by: Brock Nelson on 05/03/2011 04:34:25 Myra, I don't think you realize how much activity is required to keep 19 colonies running and more coming.
The reason why I had put up a estimate of 1b - 1.9b is that I was operating with 2 inventors. Recently, I purchased another inventor and a fourth is just about ready. I'm confidence that I can increase the profit.
As for the T2 I've been producing, DC2, Sentries, Armor Hardeners and Shield Amplifiers.
Edit: In addition, I've been doing invention since November at a low volume until I get more alts trained up to do manufacturing.

I have been contacted for an audit.
Sadly there are a series of factors that prevent me from being able to accept:
1) ATM my RL does not let me perform audits in any proper way, expecially with so little preadvice. It's why some weeks ago I posted I suspended the activity. This point can't be undone even if all of the ones below were satisfied, sorry. But please keep reading because the rest is important for you, the Investors, my ultimate and only assets and concern.
2) Scammers are stepping a notch up. Day zero audits on > 4-6B investments don't give me a sufficient confidence for a statement that some would (erroneously) see as a green light to invest. Mid range and above investments will be required to be audited for some weeks and will be required to show a previous record or a VERY good reason why nothing (not even a pilot project) was being performed.
3) This investment is big for the investee involved. This investment is made right after a scam where an outlier scammer confirmed he's still actively using other characters to prepare another scam. This rises immediate attention to ANY AND ALL the currently forming investments.
4) The Investee offered to be checked only on 3 accounts, my own policy immediately forbids me from accepting to go ahead.
5) Despite a discussion thread, the proposed security plan does not satisfy healthy safety standards for the times we are living. The first audit of mine gave ALL "green flags" (the single time it happened ever), this investment is larger but definitely not on the same security class of the above - even if "security" and EvE don't really fly together anyway.
I am sorry if anything I state here would impact on the Investment, these are just subjective considerations of mine. I have several more but I see I created my usual wall of text already. - Auditing & consulting

You should create a thread of yours instead of infesting everyone else's. This is an IPO thread not a random chit chat thread.

Logical fallacity. Sure, without APIs I can't try check if someone's accounts are the number he states. If he explicitly mentions that they are "3 of" then he implies having more than 3 and admits it.
Quote:

"these are just subjective considerations of mine" is the bit you missed.
Quote:

Kazuo gave him a green light (false, he put several disclaimers about incompleteness of information given). I found that a secluded alt of him was compatible with succesfully doing the investment. Since at the time he really had everything in order, I suspect he did like Bad Bobby: started legit and decided to scam 2 years later. Sadly I don't have foresight gift to know that the guy I audit today is going to scam in 2 years from now.
Quote:
now your scared ****less to lose your precious e-peen auditor rep.
You are so good at digging dung, how did you miss how I always stated I can't care the less of rep? Also, I acted within the inspection constraints due by game mechanics, someone else besides you maybe got it.

I don't want more details, I just checked your mail in a translator (my English is not very good, I keep saying it). I am considering investing, however, what is the investment for? purchasing more bpo's/towers etc? I cannot see why you would give other people a cut of your profit.
Where this a trading company it would make sense to raise capital in order to increase your total volume of trades and therefore your profit.
Essentially you are asking for billions in isk investment for what? so you can have a larger wallet and give away your isk too your investors?
Where's the isk going?

The isk isn't going anywhere, just sit in my main's wallet until an opportunity comes along. The purpose of this IPO is to simply allow the investor get a piece of the profit being generated.
Most people in MD is under the impression that IPO is only for new startups where it can be for private enterprise that are going public.

would you mind linking an eveboard link of your invention character/s? would certainly help your claim of astounding profits. (as i/others would be able to determine if the characters can in fact invent & manufacture for a profit.)
Personally i concur invention in the right markets is extremely profitable (but tedious).

it would seem the bottleneck in your invention/production is copying.
i assume that you have copy alts doing only this?
not sure if it has been mentioned but are your invention pos's in high sec/lowsec or null?
