Originally by: RAW23 Badly structured investments are badly structured, regardless of underlying honesty. You are encouraging people to invest via a demonstrably dangerous format. What was the reason for this change? Your first post on the previous page indicates that you had updated the reservation list. Why did you decide that not being anonymous need be subject to a vote?
@Caldariftw - Thanks.
Please explain why this is badly structured.
There is no change, the reservation list was updated to reflect what was posted in this thread, never did I once posted anyone's name who made reservation beyond this thread. Since a few of the shares purchased was made via ingame which suggest that a few investors would like anonymity.
.. because it allows you to claim there are more shares for sale because "anonymous" pulled out, when in fact nobody pulled out for all we know and you are just collecting as much isk as you can until it implodes. I am not saying you ARE doing this, but this is what anonymous investors allows someone to do - do you not remember Curzon? :) Hell, even more recently, Lethal E tried to pull the same thing with private convos for more investment. Without a confirmed list of investors there's no way for other legitimate investors to actually know for sure what you are up to and it puts there investment at a higher risk.

Originally by: Brock Nelson 36,000 shares have been created for T24U to reflect its current secured NAV. 9,000 shares were given to Brock Nelson.
27B worth of BPOs locked down by you does not amount to 36B nor is it secure in any way.

Basic numeracy is generally helpful at a time like this. You took 9000 of the 33450 shares, so the most you can claim is that 24450 were sold. Reservations of 1500 and 50 do not add up to 2550.

Originally by: Kain Rehel I am an owner of 2000 shares. Do i 100% trust this IPO, no. Do i trust it enough to invest, yes. I was in a similar situation with my IPO about a year back. No one trusted me, but those who did invested and got 40% return on their investment. Nothing is 100% secure.
On another note, i received the mail "corporate vote" but don't see how i can actually vote, or do i just mail Brock with a mail? In my ipo people could click on a yes no or option.?
Right click the share in your wallet, view the votes and click your chosen option.
As to your comment, yeah it's true none are totally secure, it's not so much about secure/trust it's about adding up the pros and cons when deciding if an investment is secure or not, there are some fishy elements to this as have bene pointed out many times .. good luck with your isk, but some IPOs look "more secure" than others, this is not one of them.

I voted my 100 shares "For" revealing the investor list.
I believe every public company should make it's list of shareholders available at all times, along with how many shares each one owns. If an investor wants to remain anonymous then he/she can do so by using alts or "shell" companies.

So, give me a chance to prove that I'm not.
Why the **** should you get a chance to prove that you're not a scammer, when I've lost count the number of time's you've gone into threads with more credibility than this and cried "scam, scam"?

You should petition to change your name from Bumblefck to Bumfcked
Comments like this don't say a lot about your maturity or character. You could have responded with something a lot more constructive than being aggressive towards people who question you.

Sorry but why would I want to respond with something constructive to something non-constructive?
I honestly don't care about what others think of my maturity or character. The fact that I hang out in SCC-Lounge and are often banned from Signatures should be more than enough evidence that I lack both.

Ummmm. Just pointing out that in fiction and movies this line usually precedes a gunshot to the head.
Not precisely along that "constructive" vein.

Edited by: Lando Antilles on 13/03/2011 18:52:08 In the interest of public disclosure, here is MD acknowledgement of a private loan agreement betwen Khanid Voltar and myself regarding T24U shares. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Khanid Voltar has purchased 2,000 shares of T24U to hold in trust for Lando Antilles, at a cost of 2 B ISK for a 1.5% variable interest rate.
Lando will retain all voting rights to these shares. However, any dividends issued on these shares will go to Khanid.
If the monthly T24U dividend issued is at a rate of 1.5% or less, then that dividend will suffice for full monthly interest on the personal loan.
If the issued T24U dividend is greater than 1.5%, then Khanid will keep the first 1.5% and any dividend issued above and beyond that will be used to pay off the personal loan principle (at a rate of 1 M per share). Any remaining fraction less than 1 M will be kept by Khanid and Lando will recieve no shares in return. (No record will be kept of this fractional balance, it is to be considered extra interest payments.)
For example. If T24U pays a 10,000 ISK dividend (1% of 1 M), then Khanid will keep it in full and consider loan interest paid for that month. However, if T24U paid a 20,010 ISK dividend instead (2%), then Khanid would keep the first 15,000 per share and use 5,000 per share (for all 2,000 shares - 10 M ISK total) to pay down the principle. This would equate to 10 shares, which would be sent to Lando, making the outstanding loan balance 1990 M for 1,990 shares. The remaining 20,000 ISK (10 ISK dividend on 2,000 shares would be kept by Khanid.
At any time Lando can pay off principle and recieve a number of shares proportional to the payment (1 share per 1 M ISK). There is no finite term for this loan, it will end when it is paid off or T24U defaults.
