Today a player made me cry, for humanity... it's true.
Ok i didn't physically cry but i did want to punch this guy in the face for being a complete d**k.
I was in jita clearing a shipement of loot when i look over to local chat as saw the following post, because of forum rules i can't tell you his name so i'm going to cool him.. mr gaddafi..
Anyway mr gaddafi posted-
I'm a rich vet who wants to help the poor people in japan, give me any amount of money and i will send tripple that amount to the plex for japan appeal..
REALLY?! you're scamming a real world charity appeal for isk? And what point did you think this was socially acceptable?! Even in EvE?!
If you want to spend your days trying to pass t1 ships off as faction ships then you go ahead, go nuts! If you want to play the double or nothing game, go crazy! But if you can't see the line between people a d**k in a computer game and being a d**k in real life then you real do deserve to be castrated! My god the japanies only just stopped being radioactive, they don't need main stream eve players aswell as two headed children! This guy needs to die in a fire!

petition them, ccp will ban them. they said specifically they ban anyone trying to scam plex for good.

There is a good reason i have isolated myself in the basement, with all the radioactive japanese zombies running around outside it was the safest place. I have food, water and other supplies for several years, and i'll use the TQ population count as an indication on when it safe to leave my hideout.

Only good thing about this is that the zombies are likely to dispose your inferior genes, and if you have not already successfully breeded they are not going to pollute the genepool of the surviving human race.

You ignorant twit. The only thing afraid of Japanese radioactive zombies are fish. (Sushi brains != human brains.) Your real concern should be about the effects of radiation on the local Japanese wildlife, such as lizards, moths and turtles (Godzilla, Mothra, Gamera, respectively.)

You don't seem to understand how closely this catastrophe is linked to the sushi worms, the radioactive japanese zombies are not eating the human brains. They are using them to breed more sushi worms, to infect the remaining human population.
As for godzilla, it's all happened so fast, i just graped my zombie survival guide and ran to the basement. I've had been thinking about ordering the godzilla survival guide of the internet, but i can't be sure the mailman is not in cahoots with the zombies, so i've decided not to order it and just hope for the best.

Terriable disaster in Japan.
Though, this thread has almost taken a light hearted 'lets joke a little about it, while still trying to uphold the humanitary morals' turn. gatta love online forums, it really show's the human spirit.
I hope the guy scamming for Japanese Plex's gets banned. Greifer tears are the best tears.
I totaly lol'd at the Godzilla/Mothra comment.

CCP said they would deal with anyone attempting to scam their PLEX-for-Japan contract character, but there was no explicit rule about independent scammers.
In any case, finding it hard to care for the loss of egomaniacal players to rub their e-penii and basque in the glory of their internet monies generosity towards a country that has stated explicitly several times they are in no need of "relief" charity.
tl;dr PLEX-for-* is e-peen for people that don't care enough to get seriously involved.
