My best argument is the available cash in Eve, it's still to easy to get rich and lots of +1 year older player have no problem to pay 500m per Plex. Other reason could be the big unsubbing Summer 2011 and many not resubbing via CC, more miners dual/triple boxing than ever and botting is still going on heavily including miner and mission bots.

3) Most Changes in the PLEX prices are due to Expansions and Patches, etc
4) You are but an insignificant drop in the water of the PLEX Market.
5) A cartel that held a theoretical super-majority could drive the price up. But this is assuming no one would cash out, and that no one else would step in and profit.
6) IF you somehow were able to move the market up, since there is no driving supply or demand, it would simply fall back down, like the ocean waves eroding your sandcastle.

3)In contrary to conventional wisdom of which when the PLEX prices drop due to sale, its price has reached a new height of 550mil holding.
