I got to level II on a skill and realized it only affects capital ship modules, and I'll never be flying those ships anytime soon >.<

I have an alt that is currently specced for Charisma skills. It has about 6 months of Charisma skills to do and I hate ALL of them
But they will be done forever when it's finished and they compliment that character very well.

I can pilot a Hulk and refine considerably well, and I regret wasting SP in that. Mining is boring and I would love to be able to re-invest those SP.
Also, Production skills. Just a few, but still wasted time from the time I thought that making my own ships would be cheaper and more fun.

All skills associated with mining actively. While the refining skills can be useful mining is dead boring and pay is crap.
Please return me my mining barge 5 and exhumer 5

None. Planning and goal-setting ftw!
I regret buying a couple of battleship skills during that planning process, but since I never trained them, no harm was done. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Industry and Science skills on this char are wasted, also Frigate Construction 5
Luckily they were all low modifier skills and I found my path sooner than later.

Based on my current character and his home/goals etc, my mining and manufacturing skills. I started off as a huge carebear industrialist, and now I live in Null in a pvp corps. About 75% of my skill points are never used I'm still glad I have em though, because at the time I used em well and they were fun and worth it!

When I was a younger pilot, I spent what was a LOT of isk on Advanced spaceship command.
Trained to level 1 and realized I have no desire to fly any ships that need it. --- Join Lowball Heavy Industries. Small, focused fleets - lots of high intensity action, the EVE way. |

I don't regret mining, because back in the day (release day onwards) mining was a good earner! I don't think I regret any of the skills I've got to be honest. I like characters to be a swiss army knife: to be ok at lots of things (and great at a few), so I can have a richer experience by not being tied to one activity.

I don't have a single skill, on my main or alt, that isn't useful for me some of the time that I play.

I suggest to play around in SiSi before you spout more drivel, unless you're trolling again ofc.
You can jump a capital without any other jump-skills aside from the J-drive I you need to actually board a capital.

You're wrong. Jump drive calibration might look like an optional skill, but it's not. It is required to move any cap. |

I trained when I was a nob and assumed I needed it to build the Iteron MKII, MKIII etc. They're more advanced right.

Margin Trading... I'm sure other's find it helpful, but I find it annoying to not know from my ISK balance where I'm at with cash on hand.

It's optional because I've actually tested it on SiSi and it jumps just fine without j-drive calibration, carrier has a base jump range of 6,5ly; skills only gives you more range and less fuel usage per jump.
