I rather like the black/blue/silver color scheme, but I see nothing wrong with this one either... assuming that this is the one that makes it into the game. I have to say it's not brown, rather it is dark (almost bronzy) gold with shiny gold trim, at least on my monitor. ===== The world will not end in 2012, however there will be a serious nerf to Planetary Interaction.

Yes, the model is nice, but with this current paint job the old Sac looks sooooo much better; tbh I really liked the look of the old Sac a lot. CCP is moving away from the highly reflective, shiny golden hulls for amarrian ships, towards a more drab, brownish yellow colour. When the black is applied to that, it comes out being really drab and boring and brownish, instead of the shiny polished black finish. I feel like the Legion and the new Maller have a layer of skin missing, they just don't look Amarrian, they look nothing like the rest of their ship lineup. Nikita's Graphic Arts Studio

I completely agree, hence I felt the need to create this thread. The Legion was excusable because it was a brand new ship, but now the Maller has lost its majestic look across all variants. So the question remains: CCP, do you plan to change the aesthetics of these ships? The new model is amazing, but please give it the proper "Amarr/Khanid" colours.

And we came to thats it is maybe the colour of the Tech 2 Laser-turrets, but let me come to this later. First I will say, that CCP has with the Khanid Ships a brand with a really high level of brand recognition I mean most people call this ships Khanid Ships or Dark Amarr Ships (see for example here: http://www.evepedia.de/index.php/Khanid_Kingdom#Sschiffe ). They are actually just Amarr Tech II Ships, so it is quit astonishing that we talk about Khanid Ships and evrybody knows what is the topic. On the other hand I dont think that everybody how hearded about the Vagabond will think about the Thukker? So CCP we are not whining it is just we love the current paint job on the Khanid Ships. Now, back to the turrents. I was thinking, When the look and the match up of the look (between Sac + Tech II turrets) borthers CCP, then just #redirect it. I mean Tech I- and Faction-Laser are more black and have blue lights, so then give Tech II Laser just the look of Tech I Lasers on Khanid Ships (P.S. I know Khanid Ships are short range Missile boots, we came just to this point, because of the new log-in screen.).
