EVE Online: Incursion 1.6 has been deployed. This release includes updates to the CarbonUI as discussed in this dev blog by CCP Snorlax. Please check the patch notes for full details of this release.
We hope you enjoy this latest release and we encourage you to provide us with feedback. There is a known issue with T3 ships that you have previously viewed. These ships have engaged their reverse thrusters causing them fly backwards. Clearing your cache will reset their on-board computer and cause them to fly in the correct direction again. Please note that any issues you may encounter with this patch should be directed to the Incursion 1.6 Issues Thread.

Why does the capacitor thing in the fitting window go from left to right now, instead of right to left as it was before (and when in space on actual ship)? It's not very consistent.

Edited by: noldevin on 31/05/2011 19:55:47 Haven't noticed any bugs yet, but the UI does seem a bit quicker to respond, especially regarding module activation.
The new capacitor graphic looks nice but could probably use slightly less transparency, it's hard to see against a light background.

Thank you for fixing the S&I job installation window. It finally goes back. Now I remember yesterday reading in the patch notes that the functionality of the Fleet History Tab would be fixed... then it was removed from the patch notes. I assume this will be fixed on another date?
Either way, until all the malfunctioning fleet interface processors have been replaced with good ones on all of my ships, you will be hunted down and destroyed! "Armed Resistance Movement has declared war on C C P Alliance. Within 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved."

I dont know what this useless patch was about. But only thing I noticed, hud is orange, check box in settings window (the one appeares when we press esc) are smaller and more difficult to click on them. All other things look same for now. Exect Eve runing lil bit slower.
Ohh bacwards flyin tengu may worth more on market as special issue
Im not the person who interested in graphical side of this game. if you think Im runing eve with all audio off and minimal grapfical settings, this patch has nothing for me.
CCP please stop to patch this game. Every update make this game slower.

Thank you for the update, and good luck with prioritizing all the incoming bugs and issues. I hope you guys didn't plan anything for this holiday weekend, because you're gonna be pretty busy, looking at the issues thread...

Now my mouse is not working. The cursor just sits in the center when the game loads. And it is only in Win7, at the old WinXP all is fine (same computer, same client directory). What happened?

- Quite liking the background shade on pinned windows - Will have to get used to the harder shadows, particularly around pop-up menus - Not too fond of how transparent the 'HUD' has become, making it a lot less bright - Labels on station tabs are no longer centered, makes me want to raise them a pixel or so

Energy/ Powergrid bars in ship fitting have a REALLY ugly shadow which is not anti-aliased, and they jump now, no longer animate when you plugin a mod in your ship or disable/enable one.

Sorry but, I heard there are Players doin PvP in that Game...
To them the HUD in its "aggressive" clorored Style gives some vital informations...
But mebbe some grafix manager or advisor told not to use those "aggressive" colors anymore, make the game more soft and eye-loving ^^

To be more precise, the cursor actually moves, but it is invisible (the mouse pointer just sits in the center, and all), while the actual program cursor state moves. It only happens in full screen though, not window mode.

I think the bulb in my HUD is about to go. Can we get a higher contrast version (the old one for example).
And WTH is with the cycle timer going right across the overload button?
Not as major but it's annoying that the non-unique stack indicators are translucent which makes some of the numbers harder to read than they need to be. --

While in solar system map view (where one drags scanner probes around to position them), clicking on probe names in space no longer focuses the view to the probe in question. Please fix.

directional scanner window:
the slider "ball" is now a slider "dot"...
i would love to see it grow again, it was a pain with the ball already and it got worse now.
Cheers

This has been fixed and will be deployed tomorrow. You can see the Incursion 1.6 issues thread for more information.

The brighness / color of the capacitor and the HPs are really uglier now. It's harder to quickly check.
I hope you really gain A LOT of frame rate doing this , and not that you actually just did this because you find it better.

To quote some ccp guys: "Bugs are coming on us like in starshiptroopers" cheer for Dev work ! players must understand that patch have bug and issue, but we must do it, its the evolution of technology. If humanity were always following the "old school spirit", we were probably still live in shelters and hunt bison.

Is it just my imagination, or do I not have to click on an unfocused window now to click on a button inside that unfocused window? For instance, my scanner window is unfocused and now I can click the "scan" button without having to click inside th window to gain it's focus and then click the scan button. Now, I just can click the "scan" button.
The new UI code was a long time comin', but thank you CCP.
