The NC has been botting and RMTing just as much as the DRF, I've flown in both space, and its not as rampant as some makes out but it isn't uncommon either.
The NC fell from within. Whatever propaganda you listen to the problem was it had grown to big. Every coalition that grows large fails eventually from internal strife. Will this be the last we see of them, all depends. Red Alliance and Goonswarm Federation (previously Goonswarm) all lost significant space and rebuilt into powerhouses, it took years so it really depends on what leadership from the NC survives.
It isn't the end of EVE, the end of an age perhaps. There have been many ages where one group or another seemingly controlled vast swaths off space, in time they all lose it. It is the natural cycle folks leave the game, new folks come in. The thing is that none of the changes CCP instituted in teh last 6 months was responsible for this. In fact almost everything they've done moves to discourage combat in 0.0 as the space is less valuable. Wars will continue though as it is the nature of the game.

I think the real reason so many people get upset because many(not all) Russians basically play as one big team.
I dont think the ethnicity means anything(Im an American whose ethnically 1/4 Russian.)
I think the language barrier means everything.

Letting your anger out this way isn't constructive.
It's a vent ... but venting doesn't change facts.
It's right the opposite ... venting just helps keeping the facts as they are,
because you let out your anger and hence don't try to change anything.
You are unhappy with a situation ? Find others who share your oppinion and group up.
Many oppinions don't make facts, (except in their POV)
but many oppinions can change facts ! (like ... "russians own everything ... let's crush 'em!")

I've said this a thousand times about the russian-western thing 2 facts come to mind
your avarage joe 'westerner' plays a casual game leaving just the odd hardcore and even currupt leadership choosing alliance direction or fleecing its members. mr avarage joe plays for his or her own ends and when the going gets hard he bails and going for example to empire/carebear or quits.
However on the other hand what I can tell and this is why I respect the russians, they know there game. they stick together and play to win. they play the moon goo game very well just like they did the old static plexes.
and no im not russian but i get fed up by the laidbackness of mr i got a real ife and respect that whatever the situation, the russians get their act together.

Looking from the inside I have to say that this isn't necessarily so. Or as much so as any other nationality. It's just so much more visible when it happens because of the language-based grouping (as you've noted).

So what we lose 300 ships, they are all insured or well we have moar isk who cares. We lose 5 supers in one fight - Ah well we have 100 on the back burner.. its just ridiculous!

The only problem I have with this is the "how".
If it was everyone coming together to form an alliance and working hard then that's what Eve's about and NC should have out smarted or out maneuvered them. However, I'm not sure that's what has happened.
I've had many...many people tell me that the Red alliance and affiliates are hard core macro users. not only that, all the major bot websites do have a specific, rather large section for Russians.
The point is, if they got to this place legit, then I'm ok. But if they got to it on the backs of macros, then Eve (I think) might be in trouble.
So my question is, how did they do it? Teamwork? or Cheating?

The whole of 0.0 is at it. NC did it, the Reds do it, every major alliance has people doing it. The NC sold their supercaps and got big and lazy and were too incompetent to think to properly defend their space, relying on numbers alone. They were rightfully crushed and it's not an END GAME state for Eve, far from it. Wars used to mean much more than they do now so it's nice to see the population get stirred up like this.
Where the isk for it all came from is irrelevant since no one is really the bigger culprit. All the accusations come about because for a large part the Russians are a mystery to the English speaking community. If you are going to take it on faith that the only people macroing are the Russians I suggest you also go read up on their own forums for the counter opinion. Until then learn the game through your own experience and not just from what the braying idiots on the forums and high sec say. Go for a roam anywhere and you will soon see ravens cloaking up and obvious hoards of exhumers with similar names logging off as you enter local. You will see this on your first 50 jump roam wherever you go.

Legit players working together are legit, but botters, macroers and DDOS'ers should all be deleted from EVE.
If there is not some serious action from CCP in the near future, with some actual results against botters, this and microtransactions will be the end of EVE, at least for me.

This is my sentiment as well. I remember similar posts about BoB back in the day. Then it was the Goons. Now I return to the game and it's the Russians. That's just Eve. However, I'm totally opposed to anyone who is using bots and macros. If that's the case, then yes, perma-ban everyone involved.

In fact, the majority of my buddy list are Russian/Bulgarian/Slovak/Romanian etc. Ya'll got to stop being so uptight and accept that they are better than us.

Drinking (coming from someone who is half-Irish!), building nukes, spying, banging women, making Vodka, running brothels, making propaganda videos, voice-overs, dancing, playing with Tigers, the list goes on. There is a very good reason for that... For a large amount of the Russians EVE is their job. It's much more important to have your act together if your RL income is dependent on it.
CCP need to get their ass in gear and start a no holds bar war against the RMT ****. That means no 14 day bans that allow them to log back on sell their char and buy a new one, but zeroing out accounts and "deleting" them.

Claiming only the Drone Russians bot is silly.
Saying they will win the war because they bot is even sillier. If they win the war because they (supposedly) bot, it must mean they have more cashflow from it than others and can therefore field more/better/more expensive shiny spacetoys. If they have more cashflow because they bot, it means the enforcement against it is sub-par, meaning whole alliances can get away with it.
Obvious solution: Go bot as well so the monetary field is levelled.
Oh wait what's that? You're already botting? In that case they must simply be better/more numerous/want it more.
To the victor go the spoils, all's fair in love and war.
