Round #47 of the BIG Lottery
Status
Participants : 37
Tickets sold : 57,349
I very slow start on the 47th round of the BIG Lottery.
Roughly 20% lower ticket sales than last round at this time - Which... was 20% lower than last time again...
Seems theres been a rapid decline in the interest of the BIG Lottery over the last rounds.
Sofar however, sales *have* managed to 'catch up' later in the round - So that we dont run at a huge loss.
I'm a bit 'nerveous' whether that will be the case this time hower... We'll know in 10 days time

25M ISK donation from the Fountain Alliance (FA)
The FA is sponsoring the BIG Lottery in order to promote awareness of the FA passport program.
Buying a passport allows you entry to the Fountain Region for hunting purposes (no mining).
A passport costs 5M ISK for a day, and 25M ISK for a week.
To get your passport simply contact a FA member (channel 'Fountain').
The sponsored ISK will be put straight into the pot ontop of the ISK from ticket sales.
Remember the drawing of the new, the 47th, round of the BIG Lottery is on Monday, February 28th 1800 EVE time (GMT) in ingame channel 'BIG Games'.

Even though I just started playing the lottery, I hope it regains enough interest to keep it going.

maybe the decline in participants is conected to the inclining number of hostiles towards FA ??
since CA died they have taken CAs place as the number 1 target in eve.
maybe its the hiring of pirates to fight your fights ???
FA is doomed and see this a sign of it

We appologize for the delay, Tornsoul (the owner of the character BIG Games) has not been online for 3 days now. We are working on contacting him now and will performe the drawing as soon as we can. I have no idea why he has not logged in.
To those that say any decline is due to hostilities between BIG (FA) and many other people in EVE, please rest assured that BIG has always paid out to WHOMEVER wins the lottery, regardless of whatever relationship the winner has with BIG. We have in the past paid out to people that BIG does not deal with on a normal basis, the BIG Lottery is 100% neutral to all persons in eve all of the time.
Should anyone wish to become a sponsor of the BIG Lottery, feel free to evemail Tornsoul and something can be worked out.

I hate to be the one to bring this up, but there is a posibility something has happened to Tornsoul (not that I hope it has) I was woundering what would become of BIG? It is a good corp that alot of people like. I personaly like to play the lottery, and have thought about taking part of the Big Deal.
If Torn soul is really gone, what will happen to those things? will someone take them over, or will they be gone?
I know that it may seem selfish for me to even bring this up, but I would like to know (I would like to point out that I don't really care if the #47 drawing never happens becouse of TornSouls disipearance. I can understand that it may something that Big can't do anything about without TornSoul. I am just woundering about what comes next)

The BIG Deal continues to deliver non stop, we have a system for it that doesn't depend on a single person; and all BPc's are escrowed daily.
The Lottery however depends greatly on the BIG Games ingame character, which belongs to TornSoul. Until he returns online, we will have to wait with the lottery raffle.

Good news, Torn is alive, though his home network is crippled at the moment;
He is expected to return this weekend, though he can't promise that.
Expect an announcement on the missed Lottery as soon as he returns.
