Chribba HAS NOT Quit
I think the char who said that was trying to be sarcastic and show that 99% of the time 50% of the stuff you hear can be 80% wrong and 20% made up. ----------- Never Forget the joy of finding a main to link to a scammer alt. N-y-p-h-u-r ! ! |

You might as well quit your protests. 90% of the people in these protests are just in it for the ride and the thrill of doing something different in Eve. Not like on the news where people burn american flags and protest kind of mentallity.
But whatever tickles your bones, go for it.
Edit: fixed numbers
the numbers we actually have show a different scenario.

Do you support the introduction of more Microtransactions ingame?
LAST TALLY: NO 79.03% | YES 5.02% | COSMETIC ONLY 11.23% | OTHER 4.73%
~80 % of the eve players are against any sorts of microtransactions ~over 90% are against microtransactions that go beyond vanity items
5% of the playerbase is in favour. |

LOL another "I KNOW MORE THAN EVERYONE ELSE WHOSE QUITTING EVE!" thread. Welp you've changed my mind! CCP is my favorite game company and they care about ME SO much that I can now buy matching outfits! Can't wait till they add short shorts! FABULOUS!

Strange.... It seems like only 1% of players ingame are actually against MT in any form. The other 50k are playing EVE right now

Originally by: Kaethe Kollwitz I would say 3,500 is an under estimate.
and you know what the bottom line is:
those 3,500 couldnt give a toss about the new 35,000 because guess what?
They wont be here and their $52,000 a month wont be here either.
This!!
And If you don't care either, shut up because your only clogging up your own forums to those 35,000 prospective players.
But hey, I guess bad press is good business practice these days, what do I know?
I guess I'm not moving with the times in EVE where you're supposed to bring the heartless insulting, backstabbing, and hatred of people who have shown loyalty to your cause (like supporting a RL business with it's subscriptions) OUT of the context of internet spaceships and into REAL LIFE.
Seriously. I'm going to go watch the real version of Kitchen Nightmares now. Cause you ain't Ramsey, this ain't a business saving strategy, and we're not hungry for this anymore, the end.
"It's useless for you to leave because ten more will take your place, muhahaha..."

The problem here is that the bad publicity, at least from the main game media, is one of bafflement at what morons eve players are over this. Not how CCP sucks, what morons the *players* are...

Great post. I also completely believe people are going to leave games where playing dress up dollies is part of their sub and move to one where they can pay $25 extra for each item.

EVE is looking at net sub losses in the tens of thousands within days, maybe even 100,000 or more.
That's what happened when the NGE hit.

The numbers on quitting aren't out of someones ass... each represents a discrete post by the individual user tabulated in google docs... Certainly some of them could be trolls, but mine for one, is legit. 2 of 3 accounts gone. 3rd is waiting on CCP's decisions.
