I understand that some people take this game seriously, and they're getting concerned about the direction it might be taking, but the abuse I'm reading is beyond words.
If you don't like the way the game company runs the game, just leave. Hurling abuse, insults and even threats at the very people who you rely on to give you the entertainment you wish to participate in is just stupid.
And if you take this GAME so seriously that it's got you this upset, perhaps you need to re-address your life's priorities a little.

Well, the one thing this says to other developers that there is a potential sub segment of the market that might be attracted with a policy against MTS
However.. most of the members of that subset seem to be sorta vocal in a bit of a PITA way (er.. i could be guilty,, but i'm trying to be analytical as much i can... and i'm not upset..just like a good debate on an issue taken apart to its minutia)

And what seems to be being forgotten is the leaked newsletter was a discussion piece, not a definitive list of the next feature set.
Some things might well come to pass. But I bet some won't.

Why should anyone give CCP a break, they're not doing anything, they're not addressing the situation, the longer they leave it the worse it'll probably get where subs are concerned.

You must be new and not have any understanding about how emotionally tied into the game most of the player base is.
For some of us, this week has been like getting kicked in the groin by our best friend repeatedly for no reason and with no sign of an apology.

Sadly the internet is as it is , I gave my positive suggestion at page 90 and the thread is now at 300 something.One can just hope then thatit was read I do laugh at some of the images as they are a it funny what people come up with but some really are to aggressive and it be worth a arrest if you would say that to the person in public!

Sorry to shatter your misconceptions, but I'm not a dev or a noob, I'm an alt of someone who has been playing since 2004.
And the reason I'm not using my main to post is with all the irrational and immature posts going around, I'd rather not have my main toon pestered with it.

You're right, this is a game. However, it's also a business. There are customer involved. Businesses have a responsibility to their customers. The customers are not being sufficiently serviced.

It was an internal newsletter for discussion, not implementation.

They usually don't announce stuff they may start working on before it suddenly is SISI reality though. In my experience anyway. Maybe the dieharders who do know **** were well aware of this long before it happen, but listening in on the CSM seems like even that was not the case. So.

That's a fair point. During the first night of Incarna, both ISDs and CCP staff in Help channel were insulted and vulgar language was used.
There are fair points about Captain's Quarters (GPU overheating) and the stuff in NEX being overpriced that we as paying players have a right to speak about. But the line has to be drawn where civility is concerned.

To use CCP golfing analogy, I'm a member of a golf club its my hobbie its my passion. The owners of the golf club having decided that myself and my friends are not earning them enough money decided to rip up the green and build a kiddies theme park. My friends and myself have naturally gone ape **** about it as the golf course is our home away from home a place we go to get away from real life bull****. So naturaly we do everything we can in our power to stop the greedy golf course owners from f#cking us over.

against individual devs you are correct no individual devs have done anything out of line and any ill treatment to any of them is completely unjustified. They are however the mouthpieces of their company and as a corporation I disagree. CCP has done absolutely nothing for at least two days now. That is more than enough time to formulate a band-aid for their PR situation. We've had contact with two or three devs and only for one or two posts. If that is all the PR you dedicate to your player base the company deserves all the flack it gets. Fear runs high and they throw Zulu to the wolves with a dev blog that doesn't address any of the complaints that were already being formed into coherent lists and ignore suggestions to improve upon it, Why? either they are hoping it blows over (not good for public relations) or they don't have any idea how to respond (very unprofessional). I don't care what happens but there needs to be a dev working weekends to try to straighten this mess out that can give more of an answer than "I can't really say I'll pass it up the chain of command".

Incorrect. This isn't about the newsletter. This is about the contempt and insults of the dev blog and failure to address a legit question. Add the tone of Hilmar's(still not officially confirmed, but very likely real) email. I work in a corporation myself that puts out newsletters and CEO emails to rattle sabers and rally the troops, but there was a very dire tone in that message.
CCP has decided to betray their own mission statement and are now seeing the fruits of that labor.

Most of the devs can't fix this mess anyway- that will require either management or game designers (realistically the former).
Comments from them regarding the issues should be restricted to "someone on a higher pay grade is dealing with/looking into it".
Mods should be clearing up spam and linkifying images just like they normally would. Probably the only normal thing they should avoid is entire post deletion- just snip them for spam/personal attacks etc.
Showing that the rules still apply would help keep the rage civil. (I know it sound wierd, but how would you phrase it? )

It's not "devs" people are raging about, but just a 3 individuals who spat players in face. They happen to "just" to be the top of the top at CCP though.

I agree with you OP, the hate posts towards the DEVS is getting way out of hand. Yes I understand a lot of people are angry, and for some issues I am dissapointed in CCP, however crying and wailing and reiterating the same points over and over in 500+ different topics on the forum is only going to make it look like the hurt angry people are only petty and stupid. You can make your displeasure known but you need not make wild accusations and threats to get it done.
I don't care what replies I get to this in the negative like dev alt, whiner, or whatever some fool will think up to try and use rude bullying and demeaning words to make this post seem less true compared to their point of view. CCP knows that people are really unhappy right now and I am sure they will discuss it amongst themselves to find solutions that fit what they want from the game. It wont happen with a snap of their fingers like I am sure some of you will think they can, and just because they are not giving you every answer you think you deserve, does not mean they aren't aware of the turmoil eve is in.
Stop taking answers out of context...if a dev says Aurum will stay.....that doesnt mean the whole system will remain unchanged...just that the plex to aurum system itself will remain...whats offered and at what price may change depending on input and use.
So I say if your disgruntled....let it be known...but there is no need for you to be rude, make outrageous demands, hold your accounts hostage, or make rediculous off the handle claims like you know every going on in eve and CCPs mind.
Your spaceship game is still there!! Only some interactivity while being docked has changed and a shop that if noone buys from will be most likely remolded.
EVE means a lot you u all like it does me, difference is, I eventually change when the game changes, you all complain when something changes you don't like and throw hissy fits if you dont get your way like its the end of the world. Grow up and act your ages.

I'd give them a break if they miraculously reversed their current direction, stopped this MT and NeX nonsense, and didn't generally give the indication that they only view us as cows with wallets in a milking machine.
However, until said day comes, I will play Perpetuum.
