Despite having a 2 month old map Amataras has the best map simply because his follows the political situation the best imo. Some of the other maps have better visuality but don't have correct borders and sometimes are missing entire factions (missing ATUK controlling most of Detroid in 2 of the maps for example).

From a long way back and would need completely redeveloping, maybe 4 weeks to bring up to speed given my current time constraints (very easy for me to update with any changes thereafter though).

does anyone have a blank map I could work with?
the only blank map I have is from before they added the smuggler gates, extremely high res though.

its nice, except for the warzones, im not sure if u just randomly placed, or a specific area. because if it is supposed to be specific, the keritsu/foundation spot would need to be a bit more west b/w egbinger and b-vip, if not, i liky.

Still missing ATUK's space. And Fountain should be BoB vs FA as well with striped lines.

agree Righteous Fury's map is nice. Clear, crisp and clean. Add the alliance standing's whos at war and wot not would b the best. Mabe add some slight colour coding.

I updated mine with names, last night I just threw a temp one up before I went to bed. Suggestions on how to make it better are welcome, I don't really like the labeling atm.

Noones quite accurate represent the situation in fountain right now.
The 5 Station systems are all similtanously camped all dy by Bob and Shinra.

why isnt there just a ISD or some GM doing the maps rather then a player. whould be much easier, cause then players arent killing the map designer cause he did something wrong (im sure someine whould do that)
and the ISD or GM are neutral to all so they just report to him.

Two points to make:
1.) I am working on my own map...autogenerated one that is :D It is most definitely a WIP. I should be done before the deadline though.
2.) There is a difference between attacking an alliance, claiming territory and disputed territory.
Examples:
BoB/Shinra/Imperium are attacking Fountain Alliance in Fountain region. But all have possible intentions.
(From my best objective guesses)
Attacking:
Imperium is attacking FA. It is not necessarily because they want to claim the Fountain region, they just dont get along.
Claiming:
FA Claims the Fountain region. This is evidenced through their offices and pilots in the region.
Under Seige:
One could say that Fountian Region is under seige by ATUK/Shinra/BoB. When the offices and pilots are greater for this group, then the claim can be transferred and it can be said that Fountain is under seige from the Fountain Alliance.
Disputed Territory:
BoB and FA both claim Delve and therefore it is disputed space. This is evidenced through the changing PC stations.
While you may not agree with how I have determined who is in what position, you really should agree that there is a distinction between claimed, disputed, attacked, seiged, etc. How you map makers choose to display this I leave to you.

Gets my vote. Considering style rather then accuracy atm, as long as hes willing to listen here and has some knowledge thats ok. The map looks real stylish and would be cool for a slight change in the look of the map at this point.

One final note:
It is sometimes hard to distinguish who claims what due to the timezone issue. In many cases, one faction has a greater unflunece during a specific timezone than another. I am sure I could create an alliance of purely US players that could wipe out any other place during the specfic time. Trouble is, you cannot claim anything by only being there for 8 hours of a day, and it really sucks when you log in off time, lol.
That being said, Euro timezone isn't everything! Yarr!

yes Righteous Fury has the best so far i whould say.
some pointers tho.
1.region names can be more clear
2.naps - treathes - and warzones needed
3.actual map as in the stars themselfs can be brighter, abit unclear.
4.what Garramon sayd.
5.and if needed have contact with the Alliance highest ranking man for more info.

I like Ichabod's, however, BoB can't really put any claim to Delve anymore...they seem to have vanished as of a week or so ago, along with many other EVE players. As of this moment, FA controls all stations in Delve and is resettling.

I'am sure this could b done in flash easy enough with rollover animations and wot not. Would make it look very simple and stylish. I would do it but aint got the time. Someone whos knows flash well should have a bash.
