That's incorrect, Y-MPWL is patrolled by XETIC usually. (DDC mainly). CVA only patrol the R-3 corner. /Elve New Video out! Watch me!

Righteous Fury	Posted - 2005.02.23 19:10:00 - [99] Thanks for the comments guys, some replies: DBP - I'm working on the colors, I just had a conversation about this with my corpmates last night (a few of which who are colorblind, news to me). I'll try to make the colors distinct as possible by not using similar shades next to each other. I'd use the same colors at Quarath, but I want to have my own style and not just a clone. Szumo Manos - I realize I gave you a bit too much space heh, twas late when I was trying to finish off the controlled territories with HF/CVA/COE. It was like 4 am, and the slight difference between the star layout of my map and quaraths was driving me insane haha. I'll fix that error, but I'm not going to give you regional claims in empire. While yes, I realize you guys are roleplayers (and do it very well I may add), the real interest of this map is 0.0 claimed territories. Perhaps in the future I'll make an RPer map showing Ushra'Khan, CVA, and everyone else. Missus Doubtfire - To be honest I have no idea where Supremacy and 3FA decide their borders end, I just made a rough guess as to where their territory is. if someone could perhaps take a screenshot of Syndicate and just circle where who goes it would help me immensely (no need for quality, ms paint lines would work). I'm a southern fruit, I don't venture out west or north much I'll take a look at quaraths map again and fix them as best I can though. Elve - Haha you're quite right. I didn't put any real thought into it when I was doing the colors, but now I realize you're correct. A lot of my colors are similar to Quarath's, so perhaps it was his idea of color coding. Back to Photoshop, I'll post an update later today.
Angelus X	Posted - 2005.02.23 19:42:00 - [100] The problem with syndicate is that from a 2d perspective alot of the constellations overlap each other making the region very confusing to look at, even on an ingame map zoomed in. Afaik, 3FA claim the Y4Y Constellation, and SUPR claim the MK7-AO and JQV5-9 constellations. The rest of syndicate is very much a no-mands land last time I was there, atlhough I do recal Imperium once stating that they claimed the rest of the region? (giggle good luck..) My favourite atm though is Ben's map, simply because Quarath's style and choice of colours was excellent and I dont think there's anypoint in changing either of those things unless its for something better. Rightous' map is original, and nice to look at, but not better imo than the old Quarath design.

Since I'm not colorblind, I would appreciate some pointers as to where the colors are too similar and end up looking the same. Obviously I'm never going to get it so that nobody has a problem viewing the map, so I'm keeping the thick borderlines as a support. Linkage

Can't fault the map otherwise, much cleaner and precise than the others (sorry guys). A corpmate of mine said the exact samething about FOE and Exodus, are you colorblind to blue/green as well? I'll try to differentiate the colors, I was more worried about PA and Exodus looking the same. Max - I know Shinra and Xetic are nearly the same color, but they're gonna have to stay that way. The gangbang of controlled territories in what used to be CA makes it a pain to use a broad spectrum of colors and still try to compensate for color-blindness. They're far enough away from each other so that its not real confusing, unless the big SHINRA text is hiding.

I could save the image as a PNG and possibly save a few K that way, or would people prefer a JPG format? Up to this point I've deliberately gone for a look that was as close to Quarath's style as possible, but I'm open to other ideas. I wonder personally about brightening up the borders and reducing the size of the region names along the lines of what Righteous has on his. shrug /Ben

It is focused around 4GQ (the area the the right of the word Stain on your map) but extends al the way up to Catch. ----------------------------------------- Heinky> Dont mix eve with rl it can be bad for your health
