I was wondering if anyone else noticed that the EvE online website is slow lately?
It took the home page 2min to load and 2min to get to the forums which is 4m (for the math challenged people like me)to get to posting this message. Where as normally I could get to the forums in seconds. It has been like this a couple of days now.
I will also note the problem is not with my connection, as all the other web-sights I tried loaded at there normal speed.

You are not alone.
Don't know what happened. Click a link and it literally takes like 10 seconds to load, if it loads at all. Of course I have also had a lot of disconnects in the game, filed a petition days ago which is now sitting in petition purgatory. Don't know if the two problems are the same but for the last 4-5 days I just can't seem to keep a connection to anything CCP.

I am having no issues over here. Update drivers, clean cookies, run your antivirus and reset you router and modem, then come back.

I agree with Krotius, i'm having no problems. Could be a browser/computer or ISP problem.

I had that from Sunday's crash until about 30 minutes after I pointed out the problem (with tracerts) on here. Edit - I wasn't the only one either and given I'm in the UK and the other guy isn't then its not ISPs to blame, indeed my ISP has a peering point within packetexchange so it's literally a couple of floors of cabling between their edge router and CCPs.
It isn't you. It IS CCP. I reckon its that Flow Control Platform that got put in back in March.
All I can tell you is that I could reach www.ccp.cc no problems, took minutes for this site to load. Both www.ccp.cc and www.eveonline.com are on the same subnet and indeed are located in the same suite at PacketExchange so it most certainly is NOT you or your ISP at fault.

Fine for me currently but have had issues at various points over the past week. And the problem does only seem to affect certain areas of the EVE site, EVElopedia has been fine for me at all times for example.
It is something specific to the EVE site or how its requests are routed but no idea what. I've also checked and had the issue from several locations so it's not just down to the ISP. I'm a UK user and it is possible if the issue is further up the chain it could affect all users from a particular region or locale.

Whatever the problem is, its located within the building that CCP hosts from. I tried proxying through a colo machine within the same building and it had the same issues. Proxied through a machine at AMS-IX and it worked fine.
Its all working fine for me now - has been since yesterday when I posted here so I can only assume someone within CCPs network team gave something a kick then. My ISP certainly didn't.

I reported this yesterday after 2 days of slow loading.
Seemed to be fixed yesterday afternoon but this morning it is back to its old slow unusable self.
Taking 2 minutes to load a thread is not my idea of fun.
CCP please look into this and resolve.

The only problems I have is I keep getting logged out after a really short period of time if I close my browser etc. I only really experienced slow speed when absolutely everyone was rageposting about the micro-transactions.

Yesterday: Laggy Forums - CCP Look Pls Monday: Eve website loading slowly? Sunday: Forums Slow? and: forums running slow?
I had a highly delayed connection on Sunday and it fixed itself on Monday (probably after I got a different IP due to the 24h forced reconnect by my ISP). No problems anywhere else. My suspicion that it could be a local routing problem between German Telekom and Level3 turned out wrong when the website ran fine again but the forums (accessed via the same domain/load balancer) still took about a minute to return anything (verified with Wireshark).
I haven't had any problems since then, everything responds fast for me since Monday. I didn't notify CCP's support because I thought it was a local problem first. Because the problem returns each day for different people, it would be great if those who currently experience problems could email CCP a link to this thread and maybe someone could make it sticky or something for the time being. There has to be something wrong with some part of the network that works on HTTP level, maybe a load balancer or the forums' app server itself since the problem seems to come and go to the website but stays for the forums.
Maybe CCP is already looking into it (today's extended downtime for "a server side change") but if I still had the issues I would email them so they can diagnose this further. If you do, it could be helpful to include your IP address (on Sunday it was delayed for unlogged users as well, so it can't be anything with accounts).

A comment from CCP saying they are aware of the problem would be good.
