This operation represents the first steps in retaliation against m3g4 for attacks on TTI that occurred a few weeks ago. Depsite civilized requests for recompense, M3G4Ęs leadership group has remained silent. They will now experience a prolonged action against their corporation. Ragnar Danneskjold last night made the following statement: "We just look forward to taking the battle to the piratesĘ turf. [3] This is a great turn of events for all in eve. If you would open your actions against Mega to volenteers, you would find a large outpouring of support. All it would take is an open call to all volenteers to gather the forces. Then a sustained military action against the pirates would be able to lift off the ground. IF things are done right an around the clock stustained attack could drive them to other areas, or literally beat them into the stone age. I doubt that they would stick around for that. For your information M3G4 attacked several TTI players very early in the game (before m0o appeared in fact). A bug in the game that hasn't allowed two corps who surrendered a few weeks into the game is keeping us from declaring a war now. You can only have so many "wars" going on at once (at least ones you declare). Rest assured this isn't a "hollywood war" as someone said. If you've read The Art of War (Sun Tzu) you'll find some basic rules which apply to combat. 1) Don't fight a war you don't know for sure you can win. 2) Fight only when you are ready too and on your terms. Don't let the enemy dictate the time and method of battle. Good advice in the battlefield or the boardroom for that matter. Calladen Nimitz |

See to it guys that you all have fun during battle... And to all those who think running is cowardice: well, it is a war, you have to survive, and if your tactics is running, it might save you a lot of minerals and resources. [66] Regarding fleeing pirates (or other fleeing people you like to catch), wouldn't it be nice to have like a "warp destination tracker" or something so that if you lock on a fleeing ship just before it goes into warp or through a gate you will be presented with a number of possible destinations for that ship? And the better tracker/skill-lvl you have the fewer destinations (i.e better hit ratio) are presented to you? There should also be counter messures to this that may throw you of a bit. [68] While it isn't a tactic available to most, I would have thought that TTI could blockade the "other" side of a gate being camped. They obviously know which gate to warp to. Accordingly, before hostilities begin, TTI should place a suitable force at the gates in the system on the "other" side of the gate at which the pirates are camped. To be reached by alternative routes. Then when they warp in, the pirates have no escape. They can hide, but they can't run. If the force that warps in is double size, then half could also give chase. [72] I ran a M3G4 blockade last night in Obe. Billy Boob tried to extort 500K from me and I refused and warped in to dare him to kill me twice. I was able to get away without a scratch both times and then jumped out without paying a dime. Very poor pirating on M3G4's part if you ask me. A pale comparison to M0o.  |

[74] Severe, while that "sounds" like a good idea, it does not work. Every possible strategy has been attempted to get M3G4 but when they just run through gates then warp away after jumping with a 10 second Invuln (which you get after jumping), it is just impossible. I liked the idea about tracking where pirates jump to and go, but again you just end up chasing people all around, which is duller than dust. |
