You know he kinda even looks like Anders from Dragon Age.
I imagine this Anders will get a significantly less severe sentence than I gave the video game one.
BTW, I missed this:

Not at all surprised. You also implied that you are a federal worker, if I read you correctly. If so, mind telling me what department or agency?
Don't worry, I'm not going to look you up. I just want to know if it'll be a department that shuts down next month.
Hey, don't blame me for being right about this muslim thing being a false lead.
Also, i'm not going to be shut down unless we close several embassies abroad in a very unexpected manner. And you'll find that it's highly unlikely that I will be evicted by a republican elect either. I've been in my position since GB senior was in office and i'm a very non-partisan person, despite the fact I openly admit to being pro social-responsibility. I'm actually good friends with several republican employees in my office who have similar feelings, but side with the right on other matters. In washington it's mostly shades of grey, despite what out-of-the-loop fundamentalists like yourself want to believe.

You were speculating early on as much as anyone else. I took the odds on favorite, you took a long odds. Every once in a while, the worst bet wins. Doesn't change the fact that almost any other incident like this turns out to be Muslim radicals. You have every right to be a contrarian, but the fact is when people trip over themselves to fill the Muslim apologist role in threads like these, the culprit almost always turns out to be Muslim.

I'm no apologist. I was simply stating jumping to conclusions in this type of investigation is stupid. Make of that what you will. I disdain organized religion in general so you'd hardly find me in cahoots with any muslim groups, aside from those advocating a peace process within Isreal.
You've clearly got a good bead on me aswell. Keep the ad hominem coming. I rather enjoy basking in your ignorance, but from one forum warrior to another: I think you're trying a little too hard.

You mean ignorance like dismissing FBI reports as Fox News propaganda, even when they come from the FBI website?
Or do you mean ignorance as in just learning today that Jared Loughner wasn't a Tea Partier?
Anways, enjoy your paychecks while they last. If there's one good thing about our nation spending its way into financial oblivion, it's that eventually we won't be able to afford wasting dollars on bureaucrats -- or their pensions. I very much look forward to the delicious QQs of federal workers in the coming years.

Where is that being reported? I've been talking to a friend in Norway who had a family member at the camp during the shooting, and I'm only hearing 10 dead and "several critical." Hard to say what all his niece saw though but the island looked very small to me.

I love watching the knee jerk reaction of fear saturated individuals. This guy was just sick. The pictures of him gunning down the people at that camp were pretty awful. One guy in the water who tried to hide pleading for his life with about 12 bodies spread around as far as I can count.

That sound you hear is leftwingers everywhere breathing a big sigh of relief. Here is a non-PC bad guy they can rally around, and really work up a good hate-on against.
Looks like I was wrong this time, the Jihadists were only claiming credit for something they hadn't yet gotten around to doing themselves.
This kind of reminds me of the time I tried to rile up the Poles when their entire political leadership was wiped out in a plane crash in Russia.
Oh well. Made for a fun thread for awhile, as the original one was incredibly dull.

This is a horrible day, I'm born and raised a stone throw from ut°ya, I have no words for this.
Other then pleading you people to refrain from speculation and fingerpointing long before the damage itself has been adressed, I can't help by getting provoked by some that try to score political points on this (xenophobes, ironically as the nutcase himself), you are truly horrible and need to shut up.
Wilkus I hope you choke on your stupidity.

Wilkus made the reasonable assumption given the facts available. Car bombing in a major metro setting and a soft target attack with a purposefully high death toll (very Mumbai-like). For events like this, the culprits are almost always Muslim.
If this one isn't, it's noteworthy.

Hey, I didn't stay you couldn't still get angry, just mentally erase some of the names in my post and replace them with new names of your choosing.
Then again, it sounds like you are already there. Congrats!
And, yes, anger is the correct response, especially with this attack that clearly targeted children. Though much like McVeigh, this will probably end up just being the work of a highly motivated, deranged individual - not the ever-present threat that radical Islam presents.

OK MSNBC was just the first one of a long list.
I make it a habit of ignoring Huffington Post/Fox News. But will use it to do additional research.
You can just google Anders Behring Breivik you know. and further more why do i even need a sig? |

Actually, when government buildings and/or a specific (political or other) group are being targeted, in the western world that is a sure sign of the terrorist being a right/left-wing nutjob.
Since these facts were known with the inital media coverage of the incident, he didnt make a reasonable assumption at all. At least not reasonable for the somewhat educated and non-extremist part of the population.

There was a lot of speculation at the time (here at least) that the target might have been the office of a newspaper that ran the Mohammed cartoons. I guess they have a presence or a HQ in the area of the blast -- or perhaps not and it was just early inaccurate info.

Not disputing the facts on the ground - that this now appears to be a lone-wolf activist attack, but its tiring when the same people that complain about 'fauxnews' have no problem linking up to MSNBC.
Find it somewhat interesting that they even have far right-wingers in Scandinavia. As far as I could tell from my annual trips up to Tromso, Norway doesn't even have 'hate radio' and 'Foxnews' to brainwash people into perpetrating acts of mindless violence.

Tragic that people are killed and i truely feel so bad for them.
Originally by: Herr Wilkus
More details are trickling out, but its quite clear that Muslim terrorists launched these attacks against the leftist Norwegian PM and a simultaneous shooting attack against defenseless children.
Grieving for those killed is normal, but grief is not the correct response to this outrage. It is time for righteous anger.
Norwegians leftists can give out Peace Prizes to terrorists and Muslim apologists if they like, but force is the only language these 'people' understand. US Special Forces killed Osama bin Laden, but he was only one of thousands. They ALL must be rooted out and destroyed, or these fatal attacks against innocents will continue.
It is time for Scandinavians to embrace their Viking roots and cast off the pathetic pacifism that only invites more attacks on their own soil. (And the Finns too - it isn't 'Viking' or NATO, but Helsinki could easily be next. Do you want to see dead civilians on Aleksanterinkatu?)
What can you do? Norway has half a trillion dollars in their Oljefondet. Call your MPs and encourage them to invest it in increased defense spending. Support candidates that discourage immigration from radical Muslim countries.
And you won't be alone. When the USA throws out Obama in 2012, the military campaign against violent Muslim groups will once again be a priority.
Now is not the time to 'turn the other cheek' or blame the victims.
That said you look like a complete fool.
