SO, decades-long terrorism campeigns from the right < three years of terroist activities from the left?
I fail to see a correlary stating the right is any less a threat to national security. But, if you're one of the champs who is pro-life, anti-evolution, and wants the 10 commandments in every courthouse in the country, I can certainly understand why you would think so. After all, they're on your side.

The far right is responsible for quite a lot of nasty things, but the right never supported enemies of the state, something the left does quite often. Just because of that the right is less threat to NATIONAL security. Doesn't mean that far right extremists should not be hunted down, they are just less of a threat than far left and their jihadist friends.

I don't condone either myself, but I think you allow the right too much leeway. Pat Robertson has publicly advocated violence against left interests and individuals in the past as have many far right political figures, even if they claim to be doing so "metaphorically," (see Palin's crazed fan shooting AZ rep).
The only thing that seperates PITA's militants from the Neo-****s and Christian extremeists is their targets. Both are ideologically defunct, morally bankrupt, and deserve to be executed in a public place.

Wow, a whole $110 million in 30 years?
That surely makes the Oklahoma bombings with 165 killed, over 700 injured and $15 million just in direct bomb damage pale in comparison.
I'd wager that counting indirect damage that single attack cost way over $110 million.
Why do I get the feeling that these days every hoodrat tagging "**** the system" on a phone booth gets labeled as terrorism?

One isolated terrorist act worth 300m is still only one incident. And if the perpetrators are caught, the threat is likely over.
2000 terrorists acts related by group affiliation, even if they only cause 110m of damage by comparison, is an organized terrorist movement and a active threat to public safety and private property.
And the FBI has finite resources. I doubt they waste their time investigating tagged phoneboothes.

I worked for the Bush administation aswell, he was an idiot, but not a bad man. I wouldn't rage at him so much as present him with free education, given the chance.

I've never read anything about related deaths, but any time you set fire to a building you risk the lives of the first responders.
If you go by number of deaths, Islamic terror comes out on top for the United States. If you go by sheer volume of attacks, it's radical leftists.
But you also have to look at the goals. The goal of an Islamic terrorist is to maximize body count. The goal of an ELF/ALF member is usually the destruction of property. Both are very successful at what they intend to do. Obviously radicalized Muslims are a greater threat to your personal safety, but that doesn't mean you ignore the threat posed by the others.

Statistically, being struck by lightning is a far bigger threat to my personal safety than both, and given such an event may set my clothes on fire to my property as well.

Good defleciton to forign muslims when we're specifically debating domestic terrorism. Also, exellent re-direct to your NUMBER OF ATTACKS stat which is in no way relevent to the question. Topping it all off with the islam scare tactics... icing on the cake.

You know, I thought about qualifying that statement because I knew someone would say exactly that. I'm talking about the realm of terrorist acts, obviously, but yes, both are unlikely to happen to you.

The problem I really have with all that is the fact that real threats to my property and safety, i.e. being mugged/stabbed/shot just two blocks from home, are taking a backseat while terrorism, which does not concern me all that much, is blown way out of proportion.
Especially the so-called eco-terrorism, which if we are honest for a seconds is in the large majority of cases just simple vandalism.

terrorism don't mean what it used to, now terrorism is just a label used to remove the basic laws that protect the freedom of most people in the western world.

There is no evidence to support any of the claims or assumptions made by the OP. Also, he is clearly a dangerously unstable individual, inciting religious hatred and violence. He strikes me as the type who may Go Postal someday, at which point we can all accuse him of being a Muslim terrorist. Unless of course he is a blond haired blue-eyed man, like the person responsible for the attacks in Oslo. Then we would just call him a Republican.

Obama "found" Bin Laden using the information from interrogation tactics he so despised. He used the working relationship with Pakistan Bush created and operatives in Pakistan that Bush placed there. Obama used SEAL special forces whose level of training, equipment and personnel were vastly expanded by Bush.
Obama does like to remind everyone for years on end what he "inherited."
