We will be having our downtime 10 minutes earlier today due to a request by a member who wants to start a 300+ engagement.
This request was supported by his mother saying it would push his bedtime beyond normal allowance if the engagement were to start late.
As CCP takes particular pride in accomodating all pilots within EVe, we felt this request was reasonable.
In order to accomodate your need to finish the 8/10, we suggest you do this tomorrow and we will delay the DT accordingly.

What ever made you think they would push back downtime because people were playing when the downtime normally occurs?
Oh, and about that with the WoW and servers being up all the time. Really not even close to comparable. That's like what, 100 to 1000 max players per server, on common hardware, with limited coding that is easily optimized these days. What is complicated about WoW? The whole game could be played with a deck of cards and a 6 sided dice.
Maybe I was actually sleeping in front of my computer and dreamed I posted. Certainly, it's not there now. |
