I find the Heavy Interdictors to be interesting ships to use. So i was wondering wich one should i choose: is there a best choice? And why?
I assume that the devoter can fit a very good tank with 7 low slots and having just 3 mids should not be a problem since you use high slots to do scramble.
Oh another question: can you use more than one warp disruption field generator at once?
Thank you.

I prefer the broadsword. Yes you can fit more than one.

The Broadsword and the Onyx are widely considered the best HICs.
The Onyx being a shield tank also has a decent self-rep of about 500 DPS.

The Broadsword is the best of them, thanks largely to it's wonderful shield resists. I always fit two WDFG's. --- This doesn't even seem to be a regular case of rats fleeing the sinking ship. Seems more like the rats are on fire, the ship is on fire, and the sea is full of drunk Russians. - Jacob Etienne |

Your "fleet" fit doesn't have a MWD but does have faction nos.

1. A lot of groups fly shield. 2. Even if it was "just goons" that would easily be a third or more of nullsec.

Devoter is kickass, onyx and broad too... it really depends on the people you fly with and fleet composition. Even the phobos is fine, f the haters and eft warriors, all of these ships are viable. ~~~

Depends what you're doing. If you're expecting to meet a lot of kinetic damage (e.g., Drake spam), then the Broadsword start looking rather unattractive...

All 4 Heavy Interdictors are good solid ships. Super tank, Dps comparable to T1 crusiers.
For a shield HIC the broadsword has some good dps to add up close range. The Onyx has the versatility of firesupport either up close with HAMs or at range with heavy missiles. The 2 have a comparable tank in fleetsetups. IMO take what you want to fly. The broadsword perhaps being the agressive of the 2 with the Onyx being more supportive.
When flying armor the Devoter really sticks out having 7 lowslots where the Phobos "only" has 6... This means the devoter should be favored for any heavy engagements. The Phobos on the other hand isn't bad. With the typical gallente resists it can easily get a good tank with 6 lowslots and the 4th medslot really comes handy in small scale combat. I'd take the Devoter any day, but the Phobos is a great small scale HIC with good blaster dps and lots of medslots.

My experience in 0.0 was the most common HIC being the Onyx. I flew, and saw more Onyxs in my time in Fountain, Querious, Great Wildlands than any other. After that, the next one I saw was the Devoter, and Phobos. Both very good ships. I saw very few Phobos and Broadswords mostly cause our pilots who flew those races prefered to be flying things like vagas, or myrmidons. For us, fleet HICs were Onyx. But no body is lieing when they say the Onyx has blah dps.

Ok, So I fly the Onyx.
The fit above, the mids and high's are correct, in some cases. Like ECM, you have to fit for what you need, for what you're doing. in that fit above, as far as mids go, drop a extender for a MWD or AB. (a lot of people de-value AB's in a HIC as they wont get you fast if you have you're bubble up, but I've more than once found them useful while being scrammed returning to a gate)
I've seen some people (including myself) drop and inv field for a sensor booster, also depending on what you're going up against (smaller ships, sensor booster helps a lot) I tend to find myself up against light fleets for some reason (frigs, destroyers, and cruisers) so my fitting reflects that more often. As far as the high's go, that's up to you completely. The only thing I'd offer is use TWO points. One scripted, one not (have an extra script with you[or both scripted if in lowsec]) The script gives you more range then the bubble, and a lot of times people burn out of you're bubble and try to warp when they usually are out. If you also have a point you have more range. For the rest of my highs, I enjoy using Assault missile's. I've never seen anyone else fit them though, so I'm unsure if that's popular. I really like being able to pop tackle quickly, and it seems unexpected to them. A cloak is handy too but jack's up you're lock time, only have one if you really need it. Like when you're trying to catch capitals. NOS is good, if you're getting nueted. Cyno is good, if you've got friends. Overheating is VERY VERY VERY VERY useful. if you're under 30% shields, overheat you're fields. You either die, or you survive with some broken mods. Carry paste with you.
The Broadsward is also very good, I have some friends that use um, and there very effective as well depending on what you're doing (better at catching supers, through adv strategies). So much so, that I'll be cross training to use one when the time comes.
A HIC is a walking dead ship. Know that you will be primary a LOT of the time. Have friends. And enjoy being one of the most feared ship-classes in the game.
