Looks like it is a bit longer and the front isn't as bulbous as it was before. I like it better than what it is now for sure...I still hate most designs that have a huge front end and a tiny rear end. Of course the opposite isn't all that great either. This is going to be one of those iconic ship things. The Raven is absolutely hideous and everybody knows it...but instead of making it kickass looking like they did with the Scorpion, they chose to make minor updates and keep the overall design. Certain ships, they just don't want to make the big changes to. I expect most of the battleships to be this way.

Not as spread out. Bridge and rear wings are tucked in closer.
Drone control looks less like a odd external engine.
Central body not so segmented with a dark canyons of windows. lower central is one piece
Front seems to jut out as a steeper angle.
Center hardpoints are more spread out and less bunched up. |

From what I can see it's full of minor alterations. The shape is familiar, but changed too. The wingy bits in the aft are different, the curves of the hull seems different, the bridge is different and minor details are added. That's just my impressions from memory though. |

Always thought the Mega looked pretty decent - certainly the front.
I've never been a fan of the sticky out engine bit on the rear left (drone control bit?)
Engines always look really tiny too.
I love the fact that the models are being overhauled, but there are definitely ships that need far more attention than the Mega!
Everything Caldari bar the Drake/Tengu/Ferox could do with some love currently! Plus I'd love to see a new Apocalypse model! |

Camo is here to stay. It will be used to better market paint changes using $AUR$ if you don't want ugly camo. |

It was a non serious comment. It's more the fact they're right at the front almost like an impaler to a battering ram.
Overall I very much like it, the model has more detail to it, the bridge looks less like a car spoiler and more like "We took inspiration from a Star Destroyer. The back is stretched out and streamlined instead of having a fat ass, and the tops on the bow overrun as opposed to just curl into the sides.
Looks more sleek, detailed and aggressive. I approve.

Whereas the new Amarr Destroyer is just the Mako from Mass Effect stretched out as a Limousine.
