Any time you give them attention, you are only giving them what they want. And as for the world not burning, just take a look at oxytope prices. Yes, they are falling but, they are still at prices far above their natural equilibrium. The goons made their mark - even if things return to normal, they won't care. Ergo, you won't get any goon tears. Any threads that you make talking about how awesome you are for getting goon tears only gives them more of what they want: attention. Anyone who has been around this game for a few years should understand this.

Their objective in this game isn't the same as yours, so you should stop projecting your own rationalizations and logic to them. YOU would cry if you had to sell all of that ice back. The goons will simply shrug it off and continue as they have.
