Small fleet with a hulk, a couple of Macks, 2 Basi's and a bunch of gun/other support ships. Goons made one run at a solo Mack (who was able to warp away BTW) Max I saw in local was 8 goons. They didn't kill anything in the couple of hours I was there. Looked pretty fail to me as far as a continued campaign. A good fleet with 3 mutually supporting Basi's, an Orca, 5 Macks and some other gun/neut support would be awful hard to beat.

They came and applied pressure in an industry that is used to operating in safety. Now these ice miners have reacted and adapted to the goon threat with their own innovation and coordinated teamwork. There are people helping out from all over the galaxy who dont even usually mine ice just for a chance to help fight back. I think everyone's having a lot of fun and playing the game on a higher level. It's too bad this got reversed so quickly, but I'm sure the goons will attack another sector of the economy soon enough, and they will be even more prepared and dangerous this time.
