Yours would be the first. But we could have dragged it on a long long time, so its not like it couldnt have ended differently. but i also i know that our CEO does not like evicting PVP entities so he was probably not a fan of keeping it going anyway. |

And it wasn't your defense that held your hole anyway it was the some 80 pilots from VOC, SSC and Kill it with fire who fought your battle.
And a word of caution for you, now that everyone knows you batphone everyone you can find in arms length, other will be doing the same to you.
You logic is fantastic, you want to invade someone and then you expect them to either bring a fair fight or lie down and take it. |

Ok lets say we didn't bat phone, lets say it was only us that defended our home hole. Our numbers in the fight was 47 pilots (the most pilots from anyone on our side i may add) and your side there was 91. Now please tell me honestly do you consider that a fair fight? |

I think you need to stop looking to offload the blame on some other entity. The invasion was lost by the invaders, on Friday night, some 24 hours before the epic battle, Aquila Inc opened up into HDKX wormhole. We got lucky but weren't prepared so we did not bring in as much as we wanted to. However, an hour later Hard Knocks had wormhole control. In fact they opened into a chain that was connected to Volta, E-R, BLOOM., the other corps in VoC. However, no one was online and Hard Knocks did not receive any further reinforcement on Friday.
That is besides the point, what I am trying to illustrate here is that you did no establish round the clock wormhole control. You did not even try to use this moment to bring a fight to Hard Knock, the moment when they had their capitals on wormhole control duty but had a very limited subcap support. I do not presume to teach you how to do w-space invasions and evictions but I am sure that round the clock wormhole control is crucial. In fact it got even worse then that, on the very same Friday night HDKX reinforced both of your staging towers, talk about missing a chance to catch them.
There were more mistakes made by the invaders, like not engaging HDKX right on SSC incoming WH, but that is all hindsight. What I am trying to say here is that Hard Knocks gave you plenty of opportunities to use your superior forces. Plenty. I am not sure why you are not aware of these opportunities, or why your leadership did no capitalize on them. However, blaming them for not bringing a fair fight, is ludicrous. HDKX guys spent a good 40 hours out of that 48 hour invasion online, while your forces took a good night sleep HDKX exposed their force to gain an advantage, it did not work out but they still did it. When you had the numerical advantage in your prime TZ, Hard Knocks provided valuable and constant intel on the make up of your forces, while other alliances were working on an opening.
So in the end the blame lies solely on the invader. You were too chill, too relaxed in your efforts. I am not sure if it was hubris or lack of respect for your opponent but you decided on a good night sleep instead of constant hole control. When you could have engaged right away as SSC opened, you decided to wait and in the end missed a critical opportunity. Hard Knocks on the other hand did everything right, they bided their time, they tried to establish hole control when your force was disinterested. They reached out diplomatically, they provided intel and put in actual time and effort into home defense. You may not like them, you may not like their trash talk in local, but you need to realize that this victory, this defense of their home system is well deserved. I tip my hat to them. |

Speaking personally, in the wake of the fight, NoHo has been the only invading group that I've had even a shred of respect for. Stories swapped, GFs exchanged, mutual respect, no real whining or bullshit up till now (unlike certain other parties). You seemed like standup guys. Please don't ruin this :( |
