Ouch... did you send a message to EA support?
Well, I didn't lose anything. I'm still dissapointed though, I was hoping I would be able to re-choose my unlock... but it seems like I'm stuck with the G3 forever.

Losing your unlocks could be a good thing - EA said they'd more than likely have to fix the problem that would mean people had their unlocks back to choose again.

BF2 is the only game my PC has probs running, freezing up, arghhh.

Oh, so that's how they do it.
I was wondering how sometimes you can fire lots of missiles into a blackhawk and i'll be damned if it dies, but when IM flying it it takes about 2 to get blown up. 
The choppers capture flags ridiculously quick aswell with a full load of peeps. Just hover above a flag for 10 sec and voila! 
I'm still loving this game though,  despite some flaws.
-Shak aka Clatu Verata, who should really try not to die so much and preferably in less stupid ways aswell. 
(i can't count the number of times i got pwned because i accidently switched my gun to single-bullet mode and didnt notice  )

I will admit that I acctually do it... not sploitz... ITS WITHIN GAME MECHANICS!
Well I ussually Pilot and If I acctually can get a good group together I am a resupply guy, 1 or both gunners are medics so if somone gets hurt they automattically heal and everyone else is enineer... Its kinda awesome cause you get points for anything anyone does... If I resupply somone Everyon gets points... Somone gets hurt and medic heals we all get points... Chopper gets shot enineers rep and .... WE GET POINTS!

I agree is a pain.
What I usually do is play as an AT and aim my rockets to the people inside the chopper...you may not take it down but it is nice to see the guys falling down like dolls when you kill them

Eh Im ussually the support guy... but laying mines is that great not a huge change it will land in a road and not ontop of some roof

Started playing this weekend. never played BF 1942 so I sucked hard at the beginning (had 150 more deaths than kills after the second day and a lot suicides and teamkills). Since then my skills improoved a bit and I started using the sniper.

Are you sure? I can't hit jack at long ranges.
By the way, I haven't sniped in a while and just tried it again today... the Type 88 (PLA one) pwns at medium ranges. 3 shots and your guy is dead unless you get a headshot. Just don't fire too fast, its not like he's going to be able to a. stop panicking enough to find you, b. find you, and c. get off a well placed shot before you can take him down.
I think its awesome on Fushe Pass.

Aye, hes right. I didnt notice that first cause I used the M24. The other snipers are great for medium range but I still think the M24 is the best (I prefer to get a headshot before they start to panick and run arround like chickens).

There's a bunch of guys in a clan called TROLLS who I really suspect have some kind of hacks.
Too many "flukey" thrown grenades (like, I'm in a space where I can see anyone approaching and suddenly I see a casual grenade tossed my way), launched grenade, and pretty much 100% headshots in my last game.

Personally I, and anyone on our server will ban anyone that *****s choppers full of engineers. I hate excuses that it's in the game mechanics, it's true but it wasn't ever intended, hence why the next patch fixes it, but anything that makes you almost impossible to kill upsets the balance of the game and ****es off the other 58 people on my server so I will ban you for it.

Its not just the engineer 'exploit', its those damn miniguns. They have a much higher arc of fire so you can hit stuff in more directions, and they do assloads of damage. Plus you dont even need to aim, you just fire in a general direction. Its a freaking death cannon. Can't wait till they stop the chopper whoring.
Best use for the MEC and PLA transports imo is slapping c4 to the front and ramming full rapehawks. Thats what I call them now btw.
Oh yeah... is anyone else celebrating like hell that they are going to redo the punish system? Lets hope they get it right. Maybe then I'll play engineer/commander more...
