This constant tk-punish, and lame behavior but hey thats nothing new, well just read the list a couple pages back in this thread pretty much sum things up. I forgive tk:s pretty much all the time unless its something intentional ofc. But one of the worst things imo is when u jump out of your own vehicle and it scratches u in 2mph and u die, and u get -score for it thats awesome. Today i parked the jeep like pretty close to a wall, i tried to go between the car and the wall, i died the thing wasnt even moving, things like this **** me off bah. I want the g3, unlocked the l-85 its cool i guess but firepower aint gr8. So i guess its 10k for next unlock so only 5.5k to go

I'm debating creating a second account so I can unlock the PKM and G36, two other guns I want. Though it means my time and points are spread across two accounts so my epeen will be shorter

A good tip if you're sniping - avoid high places like rooftops or tops of hills. It's the first place people look for if they hear/feel sniper shots. Just hide up against a wall or behind a bush and don't move. You'll probably get more kills from laying low on the ground LEEEEERRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

If I want to be 100% accurate I end up having to be less than 20 feet away, which usually ends up in my being spotted and getting slapped. Strikes me that the innacuracy might be linked to server lag or something, but I dunno, ive used the special forces rifle with greater accuracy.

I think I'm slowly getting better - my K/D ratio is evening up (I died twice as often as I killed but that gap is closing up quickly) I havn't actually taken the unlock yet. I can't decide which gun I want, all the gun unlocks seem not worth it. There was a file someone put out in a spread sheet a while ago that showed all the accurys of the guns and damage. The G3 dosn't seem like a worthy unlock because it gets rid of the grenade launcher (Wtf?) The L85 is a pos that is less accurate AND does less damage then the ak101, the sight makes me consider it though. G36 does same damage as m4 and is a bit more accurate with worse sites.... and I don't use shottys

I unlocked the big sniper rifle and used it a couple of times for taking out drivers of armoured vehichles, but I prefer using the MEC and chinese snipers on infantry.

Yeah, but its still a big choice because its gonna be so LONG until I get Sergeant. In the end I went with the G3. Its a good gun in single shot mode and in auto it drops enemys fast. I still like my PKM though.

I do spend way too much time as a specops messing with C4 though, the other day I planted a bridge and went a whole round waiting for an enemy to roll across it

Its really a full time job and even though I was sitting in base the whole time I couldnt really keep up with giving all the squads orders, so I really only gave generic attack orders. I didn't do too well with getting artillery kills... but at least I didnt teamkill anyone.

You'll probably get more kills from laying low on the ground Good advice, also aim above the head a touch and if a bunch of people or an apc look in your direction, don't move and stop firing. They'll give up 9 times out of 10. I was sniping today and got a bit overexcited they kept trying to get me and I was headshotting them every time. It was like the killing fields. Fixed my computer today so it finally stopped stuttering, yesterday was getting about 10 points per round. Today I was getting 40 or 50. Bit of a difference :)

Also if you want to take the RL issue then changing the zoom would wreck your Zero and you'd have to start using the mil dots etc, which no-one would enjoy. It means that when you are dying or killing it is due to real skill not just having an uber weapon. Plus it gives you an enormous sense of satisfaction when you pull those kills off repeatedly, my clan never seems to understand why I can get so many kills with the sniper rifles but it just seems to happen. I do get a bit overexcited about it last night though, I sounded like the guy from Purepwnage.

Anyway yeah, im not too bothered about there not being a scope zoom, would be handy, but if it reduces the number of one shot one kill 'CS awpers' in the game then I guess its for the best. I prefer specops and anti tank... now thats a sniper

You have a sniper on the craine and a sniper on the hotel. you can both see each other. yet even if you have the most perfect shot it's only pure luck if u hit. yet at range where you get headshots every time your pistol is just as deadly. If you were on the same level and at extreme distance then you could probably land a headshot about 80% of the time but doing it like that where you have to work out the angle as well it becomes almost impossible to do. Probably the furthest I can reliably do them on Gulf of Oman is from the hillside at the bottom of the runway on to the spawn by the Transport Heli at the top. That is easily doable.
