Nonsense...Caldari agent in cosmos Ryoke (Otitoh ) gave me a mission to kill Sheriff Togany(3 of 4). I ve done it and get the next part. Then checked my Caldari standing...penslty -0.018% for killing Shariff!!! Caldari cosmos agent Akira Helkelen (Otomainen),mission"Mad Scientist Dream" ( to bring him protein from lab ) involved Caldary standing lost: -0.2 for lab and -0.18 for every BS... Silly situation... If you accept mission or reject it you will be punished... Good Luck

Ok. I will try to keep the flame to a minimum. Whatever mission writers decided that putting mission requirement drops in public complexes was a good idea, let me give you a little clue...... WRONG! Case in point. The first part of the Purging Ani Minimatar COSMOS mission. Go scan probe the gate and then go in and kill the guy and get his keycard. Sounds simple right. Except that it takes literally hours for a respawn (still not sure how long for sure) and if you miss it and some one else just comes bee-bopping though and kills the guy and takes the card, even if they don't need it, you are SCREWED and get to wait a few more hours of your life. Cmon guys. Either make these freakin things instanced or increase the spawn rate. I hope this is not indicative of things to come with the changes to missions as a whole.

Actually you just been unlucky. Usually this plex is empty ( since most people have problem finding it) and nobody farms it ( because loot sucks). Trust me, when you will go to Algintal (Gallente) or Okkelen ( Caldari) -- you will think of Ani as a haven. How about week of wating for respawn sounds to you? Or 500 containers in overview and 20 Caracals spamming missiles at everything what look like a rat?
And please, don't ask for an increase of the spawn rate. Because they actually did and in some places it's not possible to work solo anymore since rats spawn so fast that you either run of ammo or simply can't proceed to the next gate, like in Drone Infested Corridor at Deltole. On top of this you have hundreds of cans... It's a nightmare already in certain complexes.

Creating Complexes was a bad idea to begin with (be it normal or cosmos). Because good complexes just get camped. In order to make things work for everyone revert to agent created mission locations again! If someone has the required standings to accept a certain mission...create a deadspace pocket for the player as in normal missions...Complexes accesible for everyone just are doomed to get camped.

I think the COSMOS is an iteresting new addition to the game. It has however problems. COSMOS is good for raising faction standing by my opinion, and also for same change in gameplay. Thre rewards are too low for me, need hours of searching for proper components, skillbook for usig them is about 100M. Respawn rates of rats like in a lvl4 mission are sometime mad with the limitation to use a HAC or Command ship (tech I ships have barely chance to just warp out, after warp in, in harder complexes).
I assume the Gallente part of the COSMOS is still 90% unfinished. It contains about 10x less gallente agents than e.g. caldari.

The COSMOS idea is very cool and could be a lot of fun. But, as previously stated, by making the complexes public you have completely destroyed the idea and any fun. People spend all day farming these complexes in HACs and resell the stuff on the markets. Accordingly, to complete the mission you have to buy loot off of the market. Please fix this part of the COSMOS. Thanks!

never mind people farming the complexes, thats human nature. FIX the blasted agents. Nossa Farun in amarr is broken atm, and thats from the gm¦s. Pity he¦s the link in a chain of three agents and thier missions.

If you ask me the whole fixed complex thing should be changed. People farming them just after down time just make it impossible for most players to get a look in. Changing the respawn does not fix the problem. I would make two changes.
Regular fixed Plexs: Lock the warp gate if you have been through it in the last week.
Comos Plexs: accessible only using a key, given by a cosmos agent. Key is deleted after mission expires/completed. This means you can only run the plex as often as the agent offers you missions. Currently this means only once. Could be changed so that the agent becomes available again after one month. The plexs would be downgraded in terms of difficulty/spawn rate to make it easier to solo.
In fact another option would be to actually lock out the cosmos constellation completely unless you have an access pass given out by maybe a LP offer or something.
The issue is really, stopping the farmers while at the same time keeping the plex open to the casual Eve player.

As the plexes contain the hacker/arch cans containing the items needed to build Cosmos BPCs, restricting entry to only those currently running a mission is dumb.
