didn't the bismark sink the hood? (bismark was a german dreadnought/Battleship iirc while the hood was BC)

She was a battleship armed with eight guns positioned two guns to a turret, two turrets were fore, two aft.
HMS Hood was shot in her magazine and instantly detonated with only 3 survivors of 1,400+ crew and officers. The vesel that was with HMS Hood was the newly launched HMS Prince of Whales, whose turrets malfunctioned and then she took heavy fire from KM Bismarck and the Hipper Class Prinz Eugen and was forced to retreat.

Abaddon: Azura I
(Azura being the name of a half-celestial paladin, so i figured it'd be a good fit for an alpha-striking amarran ship)
Executioner: Talith I
(Talith is a variation of the elven words for 'magic' and 'dagger', and i use the ship to loot... so, tractor beams + shape = magic dagger xD)
Drake: Terasha II
No D&D correlation, just thought it was a cool name
And when I get a ship that fits a cloaking device - or maybe, if i get a carrier -

Well, my guardian (amarr logistics cruiser, read: battery with engines and a little armor) is named 'Energizer.'
Good for a couple laughs and refilling a raven's cap (not much else it's good at.  )

As I repackage my combat ships on a regular basis, I never saw the point of naming them, but now I've fitted rigs to some of my ships, they're gradually getting names!
Helios: EXV Anneka Rice (Exploration ship)
Ishtar: ECV Annabel Croft (Complex clearing)

Recently joined Kinetic Enterprises and changed all of my prefixes to KES(Kinetic Enterprises Ship).
All of my ship names (except one) are famous boxers.
Rifter: KES Marvin Hagler
Stabber: KES Ray Leonard
Rupture: KES James Braddock
Cormorant: KES Ray Mancini
Hurricane: KES Max Baer
Drake: (recently esploded) KES Archie Moore
Tempest: KES Joe Frazier
Bestower: KES Primo Carnera
The only exception is my Cyclone which is named after the last War Chief of the N.GA. Cherokee: KES Chief John Watts

Louis XIV had "Ultima Ratio Regis" inscribed on his biggest cannons, and means "Last arguement of the king", but being amarr i thought changing it to "god" would be more appropriate

any and all cheap frigates(T1) i use to go to low sec and pick a fight i name Suicide Squad and add a roman number on how many i have allready lost =)
just two days ago i popped 5 of my own getting some practice agains an unknown pilot in a wolf (like my 6 weeks old self really had a chanse in a T1 frigate agains an over a year old pilot in a wolf) but i got some good experience, also got practice on running away with your pod , even with my crappi comp  also i have named my Cyclone Hippo as i dislike the cumbersomeness of it...
i name all my shipd used for salvaging Salvager II (the roman number stands for how many salvagers i have fitted)
oh and my Wreathe is called Chu Chu Train
My wolf is called Fiasko, but that is from an old Finish joke
