That's my old housemate's, character Thann Starlinbow. Might be another, as that name seems like a logically sdtupid idea from the ships name of Vagabond, but I swear to god Ive been trying to get him to rename that thing from the day he got it and he wont.
My Vaga is called Dart Vaga or Darth Vaga

Tis also the name I gave my hateful Vulture tank. Yours represents a more despairing effort in breaking, though.

When I first started I named all my ships after Transformers. Eventually I ran out of names but some ships still remain, especially my industry vessels:
Iteron IV - Longhaul
Catalyst - Scrapper
Retriever - Scavenger
(See: Constructicons)
Now I name ships mainly after whatever song is playing when I buy them, but a couple are references to various sci-fi characters:
Dominix: Sarpedon's Revenge
Dominix: Industrial Disease
Thorax: Love Her Madly (All of my Thoraxes have had "love" in the name somewhere)
Rifter: 0% Chance

My Blackbird - "Cher Ami" (Named after a famous carrier pigeon)
Drake - "Dunkirk" (Named after Dunkirk France)
Scorpion - "Camerone" (Named for a hacienda in South America - site of The Foriegn Legions most famous last stand)
Raven - "Rorke's Drift" (Named for one of the few successful last stand's in history during the Zulu Wars)
Oddly enough - my entire fleet was named after famous last stands. Even the Carrier Pigeon was used by an American Batallion cut off behind enemy lines in World War I. Maybe that's why I get blown up all the time. . .  |
