So here is my current wish list for ccp, as a drone humping gallente pilot. Make my domi look shmexy! I mean, i love the details on it, but the actual shape.....ewwwww. Look at what they did to the scorpion, that is now one of my favourite looking ships when it used to be the worst. Arguably i could crosss train for missiles to fly the rattle, but im not so keen on that, i like my guns. Ui improvements. But yet the drone ui is still the same old one we've had for years? I hope this is in the works with everything else being done to the interface, it would be a shame to overlook the drone ui. new drone skins? with turrets that actually track their targets rather than just orbit around and magically shoot from the air around them? Missiles look awesome now... but my pretty drones are starting to look a bit neglected! Also can i name my drones plz :P I'l have hank, frank, spank and tank, gank, tom, ****, harry, and of course liv tyler, cos, well, i love liv tyler. Well i hope someone reads this. BTW great job on the past few expansions, i like very much. Wow.... a thread with no complaining.... so far.... :)

Half of them responds immediately the other half a tick later. Same with the attack command. Sometimes, even on passive, a single drone switches target on its own while the others do as told. If they would share a mind, this would not happen anymore. And it would probably save processing time, similar to weapon grouping. Please visit your user settings to re-enable images.

I like to bay the damage drone and keep fighting sometimes, and If I am cycling drones I need to know which one is which when the old drone goes into the bay. Any unpacked drone has its own line anyway, its not like it needs more UI space for this.

My drones where switching targets last night when i had focus fire checked. Also, bonus to drone "effects" , for the ewar drones etc etc, rather than just damage and hitpoints. Cos lets face it, who uses webby drones?? Everyone has made good points here, hopefully they are aware of these issues, i haven't taken the time to read the csm minutes.

They can't be used again until pulled into the drone bay and redeployed. - EWAR/NEUT/WEB etc aspects of those particular drones all receive a corresponding bonus from drones boats. Ie web drones would get a boost to stasis effect etc. Because all EWAR drones right now, except ECM, are worthless. - speed up heavies on all drone boats that can carry them. They are just too slow. - balance all combat drones so that speed, tanks, etc are all the same per weight class. The only difference is then damage type. I know some would say this would vanilla the game but no one complains that all missiles of a specific type fly at the same speed, have the same explosion radius etc etc, only difference being damage type. This would give a few more options and see some of the other races drones used more often and in PvP.

As it stands now in pvp flying a drone boat defiantly has its drawbacks and a new drone UI is in order.

My computer barely runs EVE as it is, and with the lag I get in the clouds that are now in every mission navigating all those right click menus for every little thing is getting really, really old. 2. Do... something... with their survivability. They are the only destructible weapon system. Surely there is some middle ground between 'easy as pie to pop' and 'lolz, immune' that the things could inhabit. T2 Resists, signature reduction, ACTIVE REPAIR, overall hp buff... something. The new AI is groovy and PVE has so much work that needs done to it... but Retribution made me finally buy a Kronos and I usually don't bother even popping drones out of it anymore. 3. They are the primary weapons system of a whole line of Gallente ships, a few Amarr ships, and of course the carriers of all races. Please support them as such with proper lines of implants, boosters, modules and faction varients of the drones themselves. Missles, Turrets, even most Ewar and stuff like smartbombs have a whole range of meta levels from crap through amazing officer mods available. Some movement has been made on this front as well, but much more needs done. As a side note, I understand why the drone damage amplifier was made a low slot module, but could it not have followed the other drone mods and been Mid Slot? An overview and overhaul of existing drone mods with an eye toward consistancy is overdue.

This. Modular drones???? Programmable settings would be awesome. They are combat rones in space after all> Surely they have advanced enough ai that we pod pilots can set them more parameters other than "aggressive" or "passive".
