But honestly how come people just can't realize that Ravens nowdays are just as fine as the other BSes? -didn't the realize that something was odd when 6month old players in ravens and a 1 billion isk in their wallets started showing up, chaining lvl4 missions? -can't they understand that lvl4 missions NEVER where ment to be soloed? -can't they realize taht you acctualy have to train some m skillpoints to effectivly use a battleship? -have most of the raven whiners ever tried any other BS? jsut a small counter thread for all the "ravens now suck"

I don't know about most, but many of us have. We trained gunnery skills to use them effectively. We soloed level 4s with them and we still can. This overhaul is nothing but good for us, because we can use other races for what they're good at and Ravens for what they are now good at. But now think about the new players picking Caldari and Minmatar every day. They didn't benefit from the lower training times for missiles, but they'll suffer from the higher training times now. They didn't benefit from easy-fit missileboats, but they'll suffer from standard launchers with enormous fitting requirements. Is that fair?

Your complaining about a group in the community but putting an entire pilot class with them. TBH, any good Caldari pilot will be at the same lvl in gunnery as temp/mega/apoc pilots. Why? LOOK AT OUR SHIPS! The Hawk/Harpy, the Scorp (which, btw, has been fequently asked to get a RAIL bonus.), the Moa, the Eagle, the Merlin. Quit complaining, because again, any Caldari pilot worth his salt has decent gunnery skills. Hell, we even have to train EW to fly some of our ships effectively, which if your doing ECM (caldari spec) your looking at a good bunch of skills. I think I am going to whine about Amar now...they only have to train Lasers to be effective, no need to really worry about drones or missles....yeah, cause missles had it so good.

Remind me to never join any of your corperations.. and remind me to never gang with any of you for anything. You complain about newbs yet you're saying Raven can't solo LV4s now like the rest of the battleships? are you joking? they can all solo just fine. FYI I had nearly 10k LP with a LV4 agent, all missions were done in a SCORPION. It's not that hard for me to take down a group of 3 guristas destroyers with a Ferox either... then again.. you know what? forget it.. I have 8 mill in just projectiles and armor hull harwire implants. Also My mechanics, hull and armor repair skills are all lvl 5 plu i have a 5% decrease armor repaire time so its like being lvl 6 armor repairer skills. I also have bs lvl 5 8).

Just a reminder I said that "they can't solo lvl4 missions afk"(with that i ment super easy) I didn't say they couldn't at all. I have to soloed 4s in a Scorpion.(aswell as Apoc and Mega) and yes, they are ment to be group missions. that's atleast what they told us when they released them.

He knows what missions are and are not supposed to be soloable. Your understanding of level 4 missions is incorrect.

I love the Tempest :) Right now Im using 6x1400 II, 2x X-3200 heavy launchers 4x named cap charger 1x PWNAGE painter and depending on mission 1L t2 armor rep 1 med t2 armor rep 2 hardeners RCU II RCU I if its a light spawn I drop 1 hardener and the medium rep for 2 gyro II Mostly use drones for frig defence. So far it works. but Im sure something will be too much for it sometime. +++ It's called "low security space" for a reason.

I use drones for frigs up close and 425's and missles for everything else. 6 x 425 II's 2 x Assault Launcher Target Painter II Tracking Computer II 2 x Named Cap recharger Large Armour Repairer II Medium Repairer II 3 x Hardners 2 x cpr. I can bust frigs with 425's in to about 30 km and cruisers to about 15 km It should take about two to three months to max out missile skills and then start soloing in Raven again. It is much more harde to fly Level 4 Missions in Raven now. It is possble to fly Level 4 Missions solo in Megathron, Apocalypse, and i'm sure in Tempest too. And yes, i can fly all BS, and i love them all. I fly Level 4 Missions, sure, but it seems u don't understand some points. 1. If Level 4 Missions were never made for soloing why only the mission runner gets LP and Reward? I would fly together with other players, no problem, but if only one get's the advantage of LP, and so only one get's the offers, it makes no sense. 2. Level 4 Missions are soloable, so everyone who can will do it solo. Jettison container never was made for use it for mining, but it is used for that and everyone is whining about ore thiefs. 3. At the beginning of Level 4 Missions a lot of players lost their ship. Especially the Supreme Drone Parasite was very hard to kill. But instead of stating 'Level 4 Missions are not for soloing' ccp nerfed the Supreme Drone Parasite so that it is killable much more easier. The problem is not, that Raven is overpowered, the problem is, that level 4 missions are too easy. But that's not a raven user's fault, CCP made it like they are. A Tempest can fit 4 Launchers and 4 turrets. With this setup it's as easy as in Raven to fly level 4 Missions.
