I honestly did not think we were going to be able to do a medal when I was investigating our options, since all the staff involved with the Caldari one left the company some time ago. However thanks to CCP Greyscale's research, CCP Eterne's writing and CCP Creber Cattus' programming we were able to get it completed. I do want to make clear that we cannot guarantee medals for any future warzone captures for any militia. I had already made them a medal.. you could of used it and saved CCP countless hours of research and development time.. We now know who is biggest carebear alliance in eve^^ I undocked in my home system yesterday and was met by a constant stream of potential targets. Some were evasion farmers, some were looking for pvp, some evasion farmers thought they would stand a chance if they threw their 3 farming alts in against me. Overall it was something to do between the more interesting things. I think a lot of the frustration here is that most people complaining limit their eve activities to the inside of a plex. I think the mechanic is pretty much ok, its the priorities of people that are broken. Nothing CCP can do about that. If there was a way to provide income and prevent evasion farming, im not aware of it. Timers rolling back to zero, perhaps is the best hindrance to farming.

It will end Hide and Seek plexing. That proposal got lost in the discussion of tiers and lp. Now that they removed GCC, FW is really just for the farming. Being neutral is delivering many more plex fighting opportunities. There is no need to limit yourself to only about half the targets that might be in a plex at one time. Moreover you always have access to nearby ships since you don't need to orbit buttons to dock. I can keep my kestrels everywhere! I'm not knocking FW by the way. I will keep pve alts in it because it is very good paying pve; better than incursions. I'm just saying with the gcc removed I don't see why pvpers limit their targets so much. Create an alt that's never gonna have anything trained, stick him in your militia of your choice, find a defensive plex, set your other account in a belt, plex and mine at the same time for 10 minutes... enough time for a round of your favorite first person shooter. What you want to do if 6 stabbed galmils are coming into system? Catch them? They have cloaks and stabs fitted (EVEN ON VEXORS!!!). Locusts everywhere. No we need a warpcore stab ban, a notification system and better rats. But we all know that this won-¦t come :P

Just don't let them hide and plex for profit. By ending the hide and seek plexing the farming will all but end. The only people left taking plexes will be those who are willing to fight for them. You might know where some large force is plexing but there are dozens of plexes being taken by hide and seek plexers every minute. The sov mechanic is largely pve. If you want fights then just meet up in OMS or some base system and fight on a gate. Of course the pvp doesn't effect sov. The actual sov changing plexes are best run in pve stabbed ships. This is why fw was broken when it came out and it still has not been fixed. Just allow players to filter their notifications within a certain number of jumps or within a region etc. Also if the militias divided the fronts into different sectors and spread out a few pvp pilots then your trolling would only waste your own time. Its not like a huge blob is going to go 15 jumps to chase someone out of a small plex. People could still form blobs to fight on gates if they want. But there would also be people who are interested in pvping in plexes that would spread out and cover different sections of space. They could assign pilots to the different sectors as needed. Combine a timer rollback with notifications and the farming would end. People keep trying to imagine reasons why it wouldn't work, but it should be clear to anyone who really thinks it through it would work far better than the current hide and plex mechanics.
