Black Market Hub is a mission I love to see show up now. Takes about 30mins to finish in my prophecy and is good loot/LP.
To the OP, AF aren't great ships to use on level 3 missions. They usually take longer to finish them then a properly geared BC and AFs can get torn to shreds by turrents.

In my ferox I had to warp out 4 times. My raven however, doesn't even break a sweat.

well i dont know what are you people talking about. its a hard mission but i mange it with my ferox without any problems. I never need any help with this mission. You do have to warp out once or maybe twice but thats fine. By the way i always take the elite frigs first than the other two ships after i do that the century guns are no problem at all they cant even come cloase to braking my shield tank. Maybe i have a good setup on my ship. 5x 250mm rails with thorium ammo, 2x assult missiels (grate for frigs), on the medium i have a shield booster, shield booster amp, a kin and thermal passive hardener, and the low slots are all with power diagnostics tec 2 if i remember right. With this ship i can do all the lvl3 missions without much trouble.

yes its one of the hardest, and wingmen killed my ferox by warp scrambling me but all level3 missions can be done in a tanked BC. make an autopilot safe warp destination, like the next system gate, add shield hardeners and extenders, kinetic and thermal always kill wingmen, webbifiers and turrets first, cant go wrong, even with a few warp outs and always take a med cap booster and as many 800 caps you can carry. if you think these are hard wait till you get to level4 even with a BS,my first lvl4 i warped in onto 3 ravens, NIKKI |

Me too, Gav. Its hard, but then hard (challenging) is good. On this one I have to warp out once maybe 50% of the time. The key as already mentioned is to take the sentries first. It makes everything aggro you, but once one sentry gos down it should be easily tankable. if you cant tank it then even with everything aggro'ing you, youre flying a BC before you are ready IMHO. I could do this mission with a 3 million SP character, and as I said, if you have less than 3 million skill points there are things that need learning before you waste time learning BC skills. To the person that mentioned not getting 2k Loyalty points, go and see mine and Gavs friend Mitakada, isnt that right Gav? Oh you can buy some of my overpriced missiles while youre there too

I don't know if the mission got nurfed, but I did it in a Retribution for about 15 minutes without wrapping even once. It was way too easy for L3 missions I think.

With black market hub I can do it without warping once in my Prophecy and I only have 3.8mill SP half of which is in learning. With the spy stash I have to warp out once in the second stage.
I have done spy stash about 20 times in the past 2-3weeks and black market about4-5 times.
If you were wondering... I have BC 3 Use a TL2 Medium Armor repairer Cap recharge skill at 4 Capacitor capacity skill 3 medium energy turrets 3 600k total in gunnery
So as you can see i have low SP yet do these missions quite easily(Against Guristas BTW) -------------------------------------------------- - Jamie (Aka) Spartan III Hardener Stacking Penalty Explained |

Quite Right Indeed.
I think the lowest I have been is around 46% shields but hey I sometimes forget that I do have almost 8 mill skill points plus I think my Ferox Setup is very tasty.

Nah, much love :) I agree, with good skills and a tanked Ferox, I don't even worry about my shields. Only time I get below 45% is on the Extravaganza Bonus Level and that was before getting T2 hardeners and getting L4 BC.
*edit - typo *edit edit - I also agree with the 'order' of killing stuff, very important to the amount of total damage you take.

I used to do this mission in Enyo. It was mostly easy, just had to keep an eye on armour and not use blasters.

Being a little thick I'll ask:
3 x LSEs is ~1200 grid. No problem with the PDU 2's but then what are you using to fight back with? Each launcher uses ~100 grid, so are you using civ gattling guns and rocket launchers?
Or - maybe you weren't kidding when you said you were just laughing at them?

I did this mission in my Thorax. That's right, a Thorax. Full armor tank, I sat there and let them do whatever the kech they wanted with webs, and let the drones chew them out. Worked wonderfully. Tense moment on the last level as I got into hull while I was on the very last frigate, but I popped him before I was even down to 90% hull.
Only had 1.5million SP at the time too.

Given this a try.
3 x LSE 2's and 4 x PDU IIs give me 13220 hp with a recharge of 543 sec - not bad.
Grid and CPU is an issue; CPU 409 / 593 and Grid 1056 / 1349
With T2 launchers that's 2 launchers and no more; I can put a T2 AB and a Med shield boost II but now grid and cpu are at 580/593, 1334/1349.
Yup - someone is laughing. And I think it's the rats...

I mean c'mon you need a battleship to do this, the second section contains 3-4 caldari sentry guns II (and some rats beside them) that's 60 base shield/armor (mixed dmg sorts) per cannon every 1,75sec with a optimal range of 500km (according to eve-i http://www.eve-i.com/home/crowley/page/page_objectexplorer.php?id=663 )
My Ishtar got its armor dropped like a sink and i hade a t2 armor rep going with these resistances: 68 % EM 58.35 % Exp 87 % Kin 74 % Ther
does that seem balanced for a lvl3 mission?
its easily doable in a zealot
hi's 4x t2 heavy pulses 1x med nos mid's 10mn ab II web 1x cap recharger Low's 2x kin/therm hardners med armor rep II 2x cpr
i can run my ab/guns/repair for ever

Those Cruise batteries in the first area will agro you if you get too close, as I discovered the first time I did it ... didn't notice the sentries so left them alone .... when I went back in my probe to collect the loot I suddenly got a nice view of my POD
I learnt that lesson quick

Well I lost 2 Brutix's trying it for the first time today. In both instances the sentry guns in the final area just ate my ship and spat it out.
Even using 250mm rails and iron ammo, I couldn't stay far enough away to hurt the sentries and tank well enough. Eventually I tried to warp out and my ship just sat there. Plenty of cap to warp, but apart from getting the warping message, nothing happened.
Oh well, back to the drawing board I guess.

I never found this mission that hard, it was the spy stash that stumped me until i realised the missile batteries had a huge damage modifier on explosive missiles, strap a few exp hardners in and your good to go.

bookmark a can, go to agent and finish mission first, cans will drop into 'normal' space then.
i'm using a zealot for those missions, never found them particularly hard....

Where does it say that all missions should be able to be done solo by all pilots?
A mission is too hard to do? Refuse it. You can refuse 1 mission every 4 hours without penalty.
Missions shouldnt be a steady march forward to greater and greater totals of LP. There should be a few roadblocks on the way.

*nod* I noticed the same thing with the cruise sentries.
Anyhow, I took a break, but I recall this mission being quite a bit harder. In fact, I was surprised, because I warped in and was getting hit by (estimated) 3 Moas, 4 Ospreys, a few assorted frigs AND the sentry guns. I was webbed, but I don't generally worry about that. My AB is for loot collecting.
I started to get worried, but things turned out fine. *shrug*
Setup:
Ferox
HI 5x Heavy Advanced 'Limos' 2x T2 Medium Beams
MED 1x T2 10MN AB 1x T2 Large Booster 1x T1 'Regolith' medium extender 1x T1 hardener, kinetic 1x T1 resistance amp, thermal
LOW 4x T2 PDU
Running with about 7.6 mil SP with BC only at level 2. I do have maxxed cap and shield skills.
Now, don't ask me what was going on, beacause I SHOULD have been taking a ton more damage than I was, especially because I was sitting completely still. As I said, I took a rather long break, but still I think this should have been quite a bit more difficult.

I did BMH for the first time last night in my Cyc. I only have 2 mil skill points. (3/5 of it in Learning) I had to warp out about 15 times. I had lots of fun tho. Should do much better the next time around. :)
My setup was, 5x 720mm, 3x Assult 1x web, 1x AB, 1x Med SB 2, 1x EM Hardner. 4x PDU
Should have used a Kin Hardner?
Can't wait for RMR. :)
