I'm tanking cruisers better then I did in my battleship, I'm posting this right now as 2 ascribers try they're best to get my shields down.. it's just not gonna happen :p Not saying it's overpowered .. it's just a lot of fun. great ships.. wish I had trained for them sooner ________ I'm strict Caldari "The grass is always greener on the other side" - Maybe they're not as uber as you think? -ErrorS

Ever though about MWDs on an assault ship? I know i have. Take a ship which uses its frigate characteristics to avoid heavy fire and paint a nice MWD 'shoot HERE' sign on it? And crippling your cap (and by extension, your tank) is another brilliant idea.

ELECTR0FREAK	Posted - 2005.07.12 06:26:00 - [16] Harpy is a great WTFPWN ship for killing frigs and Inties, but the Hawk is not a ship to be underestimated versus other AFs. With its excellent tank and ability to switch damage types, it can take damage while exploiting an enemy AFs weakness. Not to mention it's so much cheaper! And looks better in my opinion...

MWD would make the ship suck AB might have it's uses but I've been using nothing at all. 1 kenetic and 1 thermal hardner gives me something like 85 and 90% resistances. heavy missiles were doing 4dmg to me while I wasn't moving :D ________ I'm strict Caldari "The grass is always greener on the other side" - Maybe they're not as uber as you think? -ErrorS

However i never take that setup out solo or i'd never catch anything :P Once you're 500m away using blasters and have your target webbied there usually really isn't much he can do, this is great against other AF, especially a Harpy, its ripped through most Harpy's i've fought like wet tissue paper.

Ascy	Posted - 2005.07.12 11:44:00 - [27] I like to fly a Vengeance, the ship can do heavy damage with medium pulse laser 2 and the launcher, u can fit a AB, web and a scrambler and in the low slots a Small T2 repper, thermal hardener and a mixro auxilliary power core. You can kill Intys very fast, the most time i kill claws and stilletos. They alway think that they could kill me easy if i warp to 15km to a gate and when they want to move into close combat with the autocannons i will web and kill them without loosing much shields. The Vengeance is very intersting against Hawks or Harpys...if i could kill the shield the Caldari AF loose. Never lose a Vengeance against a Caldari AF. But what can i do with a Retribution, the ship has only one med slots, what could i fit? i need a webber to hit the enemy very well but without scrambler they can run away so the retribution is a gang ship you need a fast Inty so scramble and web a enemy and you can do fast great damage. The Retribution however tanks a little better, it has awesome resistances and nice cap. All in all I'm sticking to my Retribution for a while before I move to Hawk, all races frig to level 5 4tw \o/
