What made m0o so great was that in its hay day it encompassed alot of these things as did SPVD. And now some of the best FC's and squadron commanders these days are Old School m0o and those that they taught have gone onto be in top positions in many corps and alliances through out Eve.
So in my personal book I rank m0o and those who stood either next to them or successfully went toe to toe with them as being "l33t" because in my mind a true "1337" pvper makes a team and then makes the team excel and the people how should be listed here go off of my criteria,but then again this is just my opinion.
Lucian I agree. Although I am in a leadership possition currently, my pilots (mostly Ex m0o) are the real blood and brains of the corp. Without constant innovation my fleet command would be lost and utterly boring. These players were more creative than any in EvE from the get go, and continue to be some of the finest players to ever pilot ships in this virtual world.
While I agree that some solo pvpers are better than others, I've seen some of the best in my time, what makes someone cringe when you come into local isn't your name, it's the name you and your corp have built up for you. mOo was synonymous with terror because pilots were elite and you knew that anyone wearing that tag was proven it did not matter if you had heard of them or not. I can only hope that my corp will make the same kind of mark in the near future.

Now maybe BOB dont use Eve-Kills that may be true, But honestly those 4 there are in my top 10 and I cant recall seeing a BOB in a fight since I been in game.

Ballistic Void flies a 280 t2 Claw, with a armor repairer. What in the name of god is so hard to keep the optimal range, judge the opponent's optimal, maneuver so you get the opponent flying towards you (one has tracking in mind), and just shoot the damn guns...
He also has top kit, mostly t2 or best named. And a load of experience. Still, I would not say he is the best inty pilot out there, just that he is among the best. I've definetely met better ones.
Jericho Fraction has some pilots that would rank high, very high, as inty pilots. And no, they're not my friends.

Anihilus as a Gang leader and fleet commander i think is clear and decisive and thinks very efficiently
Painball ok say what you want about his ego or his attitude, as a warrior he is a fearful one and respectable to that his scores of BS kills ranging around 3 per day is very demanding.
Lukec as an interceptor pilot more on his dedication to patrol the spacelanes over actual action but to solo BSs and survive in an interceptor is impressive.
They're all PA members but I dont have thorough knowledge of other pilots who are going to hit that list. People i've engaged have been killed so they're not better than me and i'm by a VERY long way off the top 10 and lucky if i hit top 100. People who have defeated me have been in fleet battles where its more luck that i've been called primary.
In that case i call the Evol corp, KIA and NSN as great guys for their fleet actions judging by their results as whole entities.

Haha sure yall go ahead have big whine over zincol and brigitte pwning eve-kills.com. Guess you regret not being in the top-15 there. And to the ppl talking about last month, there have been less targets for us so the logical consequence is less kills... dohhh.
I totally agree that eve-kills.com is not where you decide on if someone is a good pvper. But to bluntly say Brigitte and zincol are not and even myself, really proves you have never ever fought them before and are talking out of your respective *sses.

I would never take eve-kills as proof, such as my forum-lover corpmate Zand stated, I only know that Zincol and Brigitte are by the far best pvp'ers *I've* come across so far. As gang leaders they're both exellent, and as individual players they're even better. For what I've seen of the replies to Zand's post, you flamed Zincol and Brigitte only because the fact Zand used eve-kills as evidence, not because you've been at the end of their guns or had the opportunity to fly with them. Personally, I believe it's impossible to compose a top 10 pvper list that even is the slightest accurate because you need to *fly* with all pvp'ers to actually get a decent overview of what a pvp'er actually is. Only wanted to say that saying someone isn't a good pvp'er because someone suggested they were because they had the most kills is just as pointless as saying that "I think everyone but me sucks as pvp" when this person might never have left the asteriod fields of Yulai.

These threads are so f****ng stupid. There are 60,000 accounts in this game and even the best of us probably only have delt with a fraction of these in combat.
Nobody, and I mean nobody, is qualified to speak to who is the best pvp'r in EVE. The simple fact is the best is probably some unknown dude who keeps to himself, is not in an alliance, and does not feel the need ot jerk himself off on the forums....or have others do it.

1) always experimenting on old Chaos, finding new weird setups before everyone else

I believe that I'm pretty darned good at PvP.
Killed an ibis just last week in ony of my 1ce monthly excursions into <0.5 space.
He put up a brave fight, but my trusty Deimos had him.. just barely.

yep, me too. I spent 4 minutes killing a shuttle the other day in a geddon. But ran out of cap when i tried to get the egg
