War got cancelled - Expected reason : Unpaid bills.
I've been gone since tuesday (been down with the flu) - But I still find it weird that the bills would 'time out' this fast, as I'm pretty sure all bills where paid at the time.
On trying to redeclare on SE I get this
 Quote:
"You can not declare war on them as you are already at war with them."
I'll give it a few more days - To see if it sorts itself out - Before petitioning it.

Seems your flu is contageous and it spreads thru TCP/IP. Your whole alliance seems to be affected.
Especially security officers.

Well.. DT sorts many a thing 
But in this case - I suspect it could be something like the system still thinking the war is in effect - until the end of that billing period (although the bill didnt get paid, or whatever happened...).
Wild guess... We'll see.
Anyhow - Does it matter?
The point was to inform people what was going on.
Ie. we didnt intend for the war to stop - and we'll try to get it re-dec'ed.

Tactically, having those two wars is horrible for your alliance. The fact that you're paying for them is just down right hilarious.
You sure you want to redeclare?

When we dont declare - We're called chickens for avoiding empire wars.
When we *do* declare - It's because of pride...
It's the same with everything else we do really.
Just goes to show, how solid the arguments of those whining about what the FA does or dosnt, really are.
The funny thing is - It's the excact same people accusing *us* of spinning things 
Makes you wonder doesnt it.

It was a simple informational post - One that had even been requested by other posters wondering what was going on with the FA/SE war.
Immediatly it gets turned into yet another slag fest.

Angelhunter, don't mind Fury - they (ex-JAZZ pilots, mostly the branch that went to Art of War) are just mad that they didn't have the ability/weren't liked enough to recruit enough corps/pilots for the coup d'etat they were planning against FA (specifically Torn).

You still going on about that. Most of the Jazz guys were in Delve fighting for FA when this so called coup was supposed to take place.
There were plenty of rumblings as well within many corps that FA were going to boot some corps as they had before, so if you're going to use rumours at least use them all.
The devil finds works for idle hands (or tongues in this case).

FA doesn't need this war
Your pilots are alrdy fighting against overwhelming forces in your core systems. I don't think it is pride or arrogance, but it is downright poor tactical judgment on FA leadership
FA has only +120 active members (50 fighting BS)?
vs
BoB and friends (200 fighting BS)+ uber pvp experience
SE + ASC (200+ fighting BS)
I guess FA wants to go down in flammes
I sometimes wonders who makes decisions-it shld be the fighters: Huns+Ela+Rangers... and not the empire merchants |
